Stupid cranky Lou... the alternative would be he could have let her sung it and millions of viewers would be exposed to a fine written song and possibly ask ''who wrote that?'' - some of those viewers would have sourced out the original and bought it.
Anyways, since when do you have to get the artist's personal permission to sing there bloody song?!
