STEINBERGER FTW

SGH  said about 1 year ago:

'hear' is deliberate, because you 'here' a guitar!

__v  said about 1 year ago:

I remember when Lou Reed played these in the late 80s me and my mates were really fucking outraged about it.

toadphoney  said about 1 year ago:

I reckon they're awesome.

I think one of the guys from Bunyip Moon plays a headless bass through his guitar rig.

electricsound  said about 1 year ago:

i prefer the cut of this guy's jib. he hates headless guitars so much his whole guitar is a head

__v  said about 1 year ago:

dudewolf  said about 1 year ago:

I've broken the headstock off a guitar...does that count?

SGH  said about 1 year ago:

Two wrongs don't make a right!

SGH  said about 1 year ago:

andydepressant please either contribute to the hilarity and outrage of and against headless guitars or kindly leave.

One of these atrocities was for sale in Wollongong music centre for years and years...wonder if they eventually returned it to the distributor for credit or if some muppet actually bought it.

angelicIV  said about 1 year ago:

hmmm I wouldn't mind a steinberger bass actually. could be cool

Goal attack  said about 1 year ago:

I had one for years. I played slap bass on it thru a practice amp.

this other time a dude was out the front of the shop drinking a woodstock can pre 11am with his shirt off. which is awesome in itself. then he came in just to 'show off' his steinberger bass and rave on and on and on and on and on about for at least an hour. i struggled to fake an interest. apparently he had already been to allans in the city to show it off. a few hours later a dude from allans rang the shop to ask if he'd been in to see us. he had gone back to allans to show it off again. the guy at allans and i had a great laugh at what a fuckbag the dude was. true story. SHIRTS OFF FOR THE STEINBERGER!

angelicIV  said about 1 year ago:

yeah..for memory they are pretty meaty? with some sort of active pickup? I think they have a lot of mids though..??But I like the steinberger because the big tuning thingo's are actually pretty cool looking..and I think they had really good actions and build quality?

Goal attack  said about 1 year ago:

it was a pretty nice bass to play actually. just looked pants.

dudewolf  said about 1 year ago:

steinbergers suck and i will not allow any other opinions. except for you goalie, you can pretty much do whatever you want now....

angelicIV  said about 1 year ago:

haha a friend had a 'riverhead' which was a cheap knock off?

anyway I'm after a real 80s kramer or charvel

Bugsy.  said about 1 year ago:
