STEINBERGER FTW
'hear' is deliberate, because you 'here' a guitar!
I remember when Lou Reed played these in the late 80s me and my mates were really fucking outraged about it.
I reckon they're awesome.
I think one of the guys from Bunyip Moon plays a headless bass through his guitar rig.
i prefer the cut of this guy's jib. he hates headless guitars so much his whole guitar is a head
i can't get enough of that bill wyman pic. it is amazing in so many ways.
awesome look, for a couple of seconds i thought he was a centaur.
i had a guy come in yesterday hunting for a steinberger bass. it was his 'dream bass'. when i said ''really? why?'' he could not come up with an answer. good story.
je sui un rock star
I've broken the headstock off a guitar...does that count?
dudewolf and __v I'm enjoying your stories.
More of everything please.
Two wrongs don't make a right!
andydepressant please either contribute to the hilarity and outrage of and against headless guitars or kindly leave.
One of these atrocities was for sale in Wollongong music centre for years and years...wonder if they eventually returned it to the distributor for credit or if some muppet actually bought it.
hmmm I wouldn't mind a steinberger bass actually. could be cool
I had one for years. I played slap bass on it thru a practice amp.
on street corners?
this other time a dude was out the front of the shop drinking a woodstock can pre 11am with his shirt off. which is awesome in itself. then he came in just to 'show off' his steinberger bass and rave on and on and on and on and on about for at least an hour. i struggled to fake an interest. apparently he had already been to allans in the city to show it off. a few hours later a dude from allans rang the shop to ask if he'd been in to see us. he had gone back to allans to show it off again. the guy at allans and i had a great laugh at what a fuckbag the dude was. true story. SHIRTS OFF FOR THE STEINBERGER!
yeah..for memory they are pretty meaty? with some sort of active pickup? I think they have a lot of mids though..??But I like the steinberger because the big tuning thingo's are actually pretty cool looking..and I think they had really good actions and build quality?
it was a pretty nice bass to play actually. just looked pants.
steinbergers suck and i will not allow any other opinions. except for you goalie, you can pretty much do whatever you want now....
haha a friend had a 'riverhead' which was a cheap knock off?
anyway I'm after a real 80s kramer or charvel
haterz can get fucked! shove $10000 vintage les paul up yer ass! i saw one of these going real cheap in syd years ago. i had a play and i thought to myself Fuck this is a quality instrument and its nice to play too. but alas i just didnt have the cash to buy it at the time. i'd totally buy one of these but you dont see em for sale much now.
Dudes, more.
I bet those perspex cabinets sound atrocious.
Here's what I play:
It appears there is no lack of head there.
