The Mammaries (Mummies tribute band)
True Radical Miracle
Useless Children

Bed Wettin Bad Boys (Syd)
Pee Wee (Syd)
Eat Laser Scumbag (Bris)
Bits of Shit
Bloody Hammer

R.I.P. Society and Chinese Burns Dj’s.

Hey punk, keep SAT OCT 30 free. That’s when over 10 of Australia’s rowdiest and rockin’ punk and garage bands pile into the Tote for the inaugural Maggot Fest.

It includes the debut performance of the Mammaries, Australia’s only Mummies tribute band –featuring ‘dudes from other bands’ it's guaranteed to include bandages or at least cheap toilet rolls.

Pretty much every good band from Sydney will be there including Dead Farmers, Pee Wee, Bed Wettin Bad Boys and Carborator, a garage rock super group of sorts on their first trip to Melbourne. Also playing are Brisbane’s gamma ray nuts Eat Laser Scumbag

Rounding out the day/night are a swag of other killer bands including True Radical Miracle, Useless Children, Late Arvo Sons, Bits of Shit and Bloody Hammer.

11 bands for less than $20. Cerveza. Tacos. Maggots.

Indian Girl Distro. Australia's best distro for ace garage/punk/boogie woogie will also have a table on the day. Bring extra pesos.

oort  said about 1 year ago:

Humans are not immune to the feeding habits of maggots. Interaction between humans and maggots usually occurs near garbage cans, dead animals, rotten food, the tote and other breeding grounds for maggots. It may take a half-hour set for maggots to grow.

A major problem also arises when maggots turn into flies and start the life cycle over again. Within a few generations the number of maggots grows exponentially and becomes a serious problem.

Can it please be September 30 again?? Will be back in Melbs that weekend and would love a bitta Maggotfest II to liven up the weekend!!

oort  said about 5 months ago:

It was October (halloween) that was a maggot typo

pollyphonic  said about 5 months ago:

Yeah righto Oort... but my request is definitely for September 30 (a friday) or October 1st ( saturday) for this year 'cause I'm only back in Melbs for a few days and that weekend is basically it.

Unless you wanna bring Maggotfest to Honkers - that would be pretty cool!!!
