In late-September of this year, Nikko will embark on a tour of the Australian east coast that will see them play shows in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and their hometown of Brisbane.
''A Tour For Thee, Old Cause'' is a follow-up to Nikko's east coast tour last June which was in support of the release of their debut album 'The Warm Side' (Tenzenmen/FUSE).
'The Warm Side' has since received much critical acclaim, with Sputnikmusic declaring it as ''...one of the best Australian albums of the year so far'' and Brisbane's RAVE Magazine giving the album 4 and 1/2 stars, saying that ''For a debut album, it is pretty much as close to perfect as you can get.'' 'The Warm Side' also received highly favorable reviews in Scene, TimeOff, Mess+Noise and The Canberra Times. Single 'Wedding Song' was also named RAVE Magazine's Single of the Week.
