Three late 20's-early 30's males are looking for a female/male type person to share a lovely big house in Abbotsford, between Victoria Park and Dights Falls.
Rent is $508 pcm. Bond is $606. Room is available from 11 September.
Room is big, approx 4x5 meters (I think), with a high ceiling and windows opening to a front garden.Open plan kitchen/dining/ living and a massive backyard; half concrete, half grass/vegie garden. And a fig tree.
We're looking for someone who's employed, Clean, easy-going, emotionally & mentally stable (not an energy thief), not a physical thief, not a door slammer, not a pet owner, not a Tuesday 4am party maker, enviro-consious (we recycle, compost and grow shit), and without tons of stuff (no trinkets!).
3.5 minutes walk to Victoria Park station (12 mins to Flinders), IGA round the corner, ALDI a bit further up.
Hoping to get people through this Sunday 5th afternoon.
PM PM PM

I vouch for the area. (North Richmond North, or Collingwood East, for those who don't have geography.)
It's a good area, especially now that the IGA has opened...
you people sound boring. how can you have fun if you can't slam doors?
enegy thief? recharging lots of batteries to use off-site?
hear that guitarists?! leave the pedals at a mates.
Energy thief: someone who sucks all the positive energy out of the people they live with.
I'm the kind of person who would love to be a tuesday 4am party maker but i can never seem to get it done.
Where's the IGA?
Johnston st, across the road from the fast and easy
Now you assume everyone knows where the fast and easy is.
yep
i know where it is
I got a coke from there the other day, due to the IGA they are hardly restocking...my coke was out of date...
how can coke be out of date? It's 100% sugar. The can would take longer to break down than the coke.
sure it has a long shelf life, but when it does go out of date it tastes weird as. The fact that it does have such a long shelf life makes you wonder how dire the the fast and easy is for selling out of date coke.
fullonidle sounds like an energy thief
explain
Got a bottle of Jameson from the new IGA over the weekend, it's a lot closer than the Smith St Woolies.
But I am moving to Brunswick so it's 2 years too late :(
''sucking'' positive energy from someone... absolute nonsense.
energy sucking is a real concern!
I feel sad for Fast 'n Easy. I feel guilty when they can see me go to IGA. Fast 'n Easy should start selling vegetables and booze so I don't have to go through this every day.
what's with inner city vegie gardens? Is this really an economically/environmentally sound form of gardening? I love it how people water the shit out of a small vegie garden and yield 3 dried up cherry tomatoes.
Really? Why would you love that? There seems to be far too much water usage and far too little outcome!
I always cross a little bit down Johnston and then walk to IGA in the shadows, the Guy at the fast and easy is ALWAYS looking out his window. The worst part is that they have the ATM...
My watered twice weekly inner city garden kicked balls last FYI.
Tomatoes, zucchinis, squash, potatoes, snow peas, runner beans, apples, peaches, carrots, broccoli, spring onions, rocket, rasberrys, salad lettuce, strawberrys, Chives, chilli's, corn, passionfruit.
RASBERRYS!
BAH!
People with yards should allow pet owners.

mid week bump
Anyone vaguely interested in living somewhere nice with nice people is encouraged to get in touch. We've had a few Randoms and Gumtree's through, but y'know, would really prefer someone M+N affiliated.
Inspection is this Thursday evening but can make times to suit if need be.
PM or hellshalf_acre@yahoo.com.au

Now why the fuck woud you want that? It's not hard enough reading dribble you now want to talk it too.
This also probably means you can get someone from Faster Louder.
ouch!
So all along, what Collingwood really needed was an IGA. Who knew?
$14.99 Coopers green six packs FTW.
yeah, that walk op johnston st to stabway was a major pain.
The Coopers in that little supermarket opposite Dirt Cheap Books is $18.99 a six pack, you know.

Expressions of interest sought.
If you appear in the ''Worst Housemate Habits'' thread as the protagonist I'm gonna know about it. Ditto the ''Mentally Unstable, Me'' thread, and the ''I Bring Home Randoms'' thread, etc.
I have a full list of requirements/specifications/salient points but won't waste bandwidth by posting them here. PM for details.
Short term entirely encouraged.
(Note: I am not affiliated with the first-posting household. I just nicked their wording.)
U sound annoying and no fun to live with, in other words fuck that!
Yeah, I'm absolutely horrible. I don't recommend cohabitation to anyone, particularly someone who is a grown-up but still craves the 'student share-house' experience. But if one gets over my disanthropy and survives the gauntlet entry test they may be pleasantly surprised.
I just saw a guy get maced 6 times by about 11 cops in sunny abbotsford...right out the front of my door...
I LOVE ABBOTSFORD
What, the first 5 times wasn't enough?
