The worst films ever made? Let's make a list!

Baron Von Blood  said about 1 year ago  or at  6:31PM on Friday, August 20 2010 in chat

Ok, i'm going to put it out there, i love crap cinema (i also love well crafted art cinema too, say yea), but Ed Woods 'The Bride and the Beast' is hands down, the worst film i've ever had the displeasure of seeing, hands down, the WORST!
It's basically made up of shitty stock footage inter cut with crap scenes taken from quite possible the worst screen play ever written.
Aside from Robot Monster and Plan 9 From Outer Space (Both of these are genius i have to say), can anyone beat this painful cinematic experience?

Battlefield Earth isn't just a bad film. It's the nadir of Western Culture.

anything marketed as arthouse

best film:
Killer Klowns from Outer Space

I didn't read the first post..... I think the only movie I've seen that fits this category is Plan 9. It was hilarious for 20 min then depressing

djbollocks  said about 1 year ago:

Death in Brunswick is great.

I think the worst film I ever saw would have to be Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo. It was so bad I felt like killing myself after watching it.

Speaking of Nicholas Cage...the remake of the Wickerman is pretty fucking awful. But hilarious.

'Chicken Park' looks awesome for a bad movie marathon or when stoned.

Interesting follow-up to that Gordon Ramsay move Love's Kitchen... it ended up grossing 121 pounds on its first weekend release, meaning about 17 people paid to see it.

PooPeeTaste  said about 6 months ago:

American Psycho 2

Absolutely horrible.

labrish  said about 6 months ago:

no mention of Con Air yet and that definitely rates as one of the all time worst films...

Con Air is amazing. What's really terrible is Next.

tugboat  said about 6 months ago:

Next is amazing!

yeah and Con Air is diabolically bad...

The hilarity of this review of Love's Kitchen means that its existence isn't entirely unjustified

I'd also point out that not enough hate has been directed toward the Wayan Brothers or those profit-driven arsehats who make the Epic/Disaster/Date/Scary movie franchises. Clogging up cinemas, preventing decent films being shown and generally passing off wretched jokes, shit impersonations and hateful pastiches as entertainment yet making hundreds of millions of dollars. I have seen one so I am able to comment from experience.

Who's going to watch Dragonball Evolution on OneHD tonight?

definitely  said about 2 months ago:

Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Not just the worst film ever, but also the worst thing ever. I'm actually pretty sure that the director, editors and actors decided they wanted to make the worst film ever made, and they succeeded. I haven't read the book (or any of those Twilight books) but I'm also declaring it the worst book ever written.
