It's cos I wasn't here. I was at a gig.
Hey noneabove!! I'm still up, can't believe it. Got everything in today and it's been so boring on this message board and now the lively souls on twitter have quitened down and there is no-one to talk to.
I'm exhausted. Trying to upload video from the gig tonight, but YouTube sucks, so it will probably take all night - it said 50 mins remaining at 10% and now I'm at 30% there's 49 minutes remaining.
What gig did you go to?
Heil Spirits/Mitchell Butler/Cured Pink - it was at my house. My housemate complained about the noise about ten minutes in to the gig (after he said it was cool and even enthused about the idea?!), a neighbour complained and then came to listen (?!) and the an hour and a half after the last punter left the cops turned up while I was brushing my teeth for bed.
What a fucking weird town Brisbane is.
Was this the one you were mentioning the other day? The one you were organising?
Disorganising, more like it. But yes. The things you go through to put on a mid-week gig in this place! Debacle! Etc.
I'm on the phone to my mum at the moment.
