He was supposed to play a gig at Liverpool around this time fronting Sebastian Hardie, but was rehearsing for JC Superstar, so Andy Gibb filled in for him.

He split a food court table with someone I know and stopped three times through his scrambled eggs to have a ciggie. Man's constituted entirely of nicotine these days.

I saw him last year at a charity dinner...he was ok, kinda dull. Daryl Braithwaite on the same night kicked arse.

Daryl Braithwaite

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows this guy and is trying to get him to play at a wedding. I cringed. But your review has changed me.

littlesmoke  said about 1 year ago:

haha...cool. Seriously...I'd never been a fan (of his or of Sherbet even), but after seeing him onstage my opinion rapidly changed. This guy can sing....still, and really well. I was blown away.

mealzebub  said about 1 year ago:

'Cos of the dark circles around his eyes. Nugget was a brand of shoe polish in the '70s.

samiek  said about 1 year ago:

oh.

fishandfingerpie  said about 1 year ago:

i love it.

nugget eyes.

in hindsight, this thread was a good idea.

can anyone gather some 'all together now' quotes

bamesjaker  said about 1 year ago:

We had some grammar books at primary school in the late 1970s titled 'I love English'. Someone scribbled 'Jon' between love and English, which was subsequently edited to cross out love and replaced with hate. Crazy times.

Still a brand of shoe polish even.

I bought the Words Are not Enough &'' pic sleeve single from Dixons last week. It's no Hollywood Seven or Hot Town, but it's an OK song. And it's in a PICTURE SLEEVE!
