It continually amazes me that season after season Survivor still contains surprises. I love it. Cannot wait to see how the amputee goes. I haven't watched all seasons (have probably seen about 12 of them) so forgive me if this has already happened, but I would love to see a deaf or blind contestant.
Also, one of the reasons Survivor has such great staying power is that the more things change, the more they stay the same... To Jeff Probst and your rolled-up sleeves, here's lookin' at you kid.
My favourite moment ever was when the contestants used sticks to spear poisonous snakes to dangle over the water to attract sharks (to eat). You just couldn't script that shit.
she's got a pretty state of the art prosthesis so i reckon she'll probably school some people at the first challenge. although i could be very wrong.

dunno about a local showing (depends on how well the last season rated/how good this season is) but i will be torrenting my little socks off.
been no advertising that I've seen so far, last 2 series they advertised the hell out of it about a month beforehand, hopefully this isn't a bad sign for us non torrenters
last season the ch9 coverage started about 5 or 6 weeks into the american season. patience may be rewarded

the stupidest thing after all that shit at tribal council in the last episode (i know we dont see all the unedited conversation) is that after alot of coaxing from jeff for the three to form an alliance, finally Jane says to the others ok lets vote off holly and force a tie... then she votes sash!!
Jane voting Sash was insane - but the she is insane.
I think Dan and Fabio thought it was too good a chance to get rid of her in the short term, despite the 3-2 format now. Then again, Chase is dense and Sash duplicitious, so the 3 may not hold it together for long.

i was surprised chase got four votes. thought sash might have got one or two. i think nayonka voted for fabio which i thought would never happen.
