I'm considering going this year, depending on the line-up.
Any credible rumours?

Oh and sharon jones was good too.
Neil Finn was literally the greatest moment of my life. I have never seen anything so beautiful and I don't think I ever will. Had an amazing weekend, great bands, great people, great vibes, awesome food. Those happy birthday speeches really tugged at the heart strings.
Imagine being a band as bland as Girls, and having to play at a festival where Dirty Three takes the stage a few hours later and makes you realise that what you're doing with your life is literally nothing.
I’m trying to figure out who this band is. The Fall? Important and influential but hardly big, they were on at 4.30pm. For $60 you could see them at Billboard. Neil Finn was probably the biggest international on the bill so yes the $290 ticket price does seem pretty steep which is why I haven't been to Meredith for a few years now.
One Million Meredith photos here.
or here, even http://www.fasterlouder.com.au/gallery/20401/Meredith-Music-Festival/photo#1
everyone who was there and went to bed early saturday should read this
damn!
Hehe, awesome.
more like up early sunday.
what the fuck is smallnightin.com?
That was my first Meredith, but I can see it become a wonderful tradition. Such a great festival, friendly punters, great food, the dunnies didn't stink. The weather was fucked but the music made up for it.
^this idiot forgets to mention the part where he played with Neil Finn^
hah! I assume mattus was sorted for that night too- neil seemed a bit jealous, really..
is that harvey story for real?? that's insane.
I reckon I saw that ''Harvey'' guy on Sunday morning yelling at the hill (yes, at the hill) as he struggled to climb it. Wildly and unintentionally flinging a goon sack around, and arguing with strangers/no one at all. You could tell by the look on his face that, in his own mind, he could swing from ''life of the party'' to ''no one understands me, fuck you all'' in about three seconds. He was mesmerising.
How do you know she was pretending? The band Girls are very popular. My sister likes them and my mum knows about them. I'm sure this girl is a better hipster than yourself. She's probably one of those models who went to a rich selective school, or whatever the equivalent is in Vic. Probably very intellectual, studies at Melb Uni, reads voraciously and knows exactly which bands to name drop.
Fucken great Meredith
(yep, only really getting back to reality now)
I was pretty nonchalant about seeing Neil Finn too, but watching that set from the Ferris Wheel made my Meredith.
Jeff The Bro-hood are rock and roll brilliance, and El Guincho was superb.
i lost my purse which had my license and $50 in it and someone handed it in to lost property.
bless.
That was pretty good.
I saw ''Harvey'' playing a wheelie bin like a drum.
