Valleys are headlining Weekender at Ding Dong this Saturday 7th Aug with support from YIS. Apart from 1 or 2 supports earlier this year it's our first proper kind of show. The curious may listen at

monies are $10 at the door or $8 if you say you're there to see Valleys or YIS.

filterfeed  said about 1 year ago:

why else would you go? it's weekender - not like you're going to appear cool or something.

hyperfuzz  said about 1 year ago:

cos you are a really big... er... two door cinema club fan?

Yet another corker of a Weekender coming your way. Tune in to the blissful new pop assault of hot act Valleys http://www.myspace.com/listentovalleys (10.45). Valleys will transport you with their sweet melodies and charming offbeats. Supporting Valleys at ( 9.45) will be the sonic electro grunge assault of YIS. Then Steve and Gregory will play your favour...ite indie tunes for you to dance to until the wee hours of the morning. *Hear Foals, Gorillaz, Florence and the Machine, Two Door Cinema Club, Klaxons, Bloc Party, Vampire Weekend, The Drums, The Smiths, New Order, M.I.A, Phoenix, Pulp, Kasabian, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, Libertines, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Killers, Interpol, Postal Service, Arctic Monkeys, Futureheads, Maximo Park, The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem, plus all your weekender favourites in one massive night. *

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

I am be seeking $37 worth punitive damages for blissful new pop/sonic electro grunge assault.

hyperfuzz  said about 1 year ago:

i'll settle out of court for a pot and a party popper.

valleys  said about 1 year ago:

i'll negotiate the settlement upon seeing the amended statement of claim. until then the pot and party popper will be held in trust.

hyperfuzz  said about 1 year ago:

i don't think you're in any position to negotiate, what with being the defendant/respondent/whatever and all

JudyDickslap  said about 1 year ago:

OBJECTION!

hyperfuzz  said about 1 year ago:

on what grounds?

hyperfuzz  said about 1 year ago:

Who the fuck writes these things?

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

More from Dong Dong...

''Zond is a looming car crash of a band that leaves a burning trail of destruction in their wake.''

''New Zealand’s statesmen of Space Metal, led by iconic visual artist, Ronnie van Hout. A caustic, chaotic, sprawling sonic extravagance.''

''Strutting their stuff this month is the icecream themed ice-crazed junkie rock of Carvel, the debauched MILF-ery of Drunk Mums, the spanking good time boogie of The Jonathans and flying dream of the Ben Wright Smith Band''

JudyDickslap  said about 1 year ago:

I think the press release stuff would be more Dong than Steve.

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

''Melbourne’s OVER-REACTOR are setting their own agenda, and reshaping the look and feel of live music as they go.''

''Adding extra tang to the toppings on this rock n’ roll pizza are the existential power pop of Wilfed Jackal''
