OK Heres the deals. It will start with an artist, song or band and then the next post has to be loosely related by maybe, members of the same band formed a new band or covered one of the other bands songs or something.

Eg

Foo fighters.....

Eyes Adrift was a three piece rock supergroup consisting of Krist Novoselic (bass guitar, formerly of Nirvana), Curt Kirkwood (guitar and Lead vocals, of the Meat Puppets), and Bud Gaugh (drums, formerly of Sublime and Long Beach Dub Allstars). They released a self-titled album (see below) in 2002, which was a mixture of punk, grunge, and country, taking all of their previous backgrounds and putting them together. They later broke up in 2003, after their debut album flopped. Kirkwood and Gaugh went on to form Volcano. The album is currently out of print.

Mojo Nixon and the Toadliquers - also covered 'Girlfriend in a coma', though they missed the point of the song in doing so.

raven  said about 1 year ago:

Tim Friese-Green - did a song with Nick Cave called ''MOJO''. (Not as good as the other song they did together called ''There Is A Light'', which is unrelated to the similarly-named Smiths song...)

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

The Breeders - Kim Deal, as with Cypress Hill, loves the weed.

yoghurt  said about 1 year ago:

Willie Nelson - also known to smoke the wacky tobaccy. Apparently he even did it on top of the whitehouse.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

Elliot Smith - Sung about 'High Times', while Willie (and Kim!) have been on the front cover of the magazine High Times.

Kez  said about 1 year ago:

MC5 - had an album titled High Time (and Wayne did time for being high)

JB3 (John Butler Trio) also contains 2 letters and 1 number. Besides Johnny has probably smoked a few fat ones in his time.

yoghurt  said about 1 year ago:

Snow - did that song ''informer'' also another white dude with ''cred locks'' who talked about the ''hardtimes'' of growing up in white suburbia.
