Bodies are a band that chew on dinosaur bones and walk in the mud. Primal, lurching, club swinging, burdensome riffs. Bodies debut CD was recorded in about 8 hours at 3cr radio station one drunken night, mixed in about 6 hours and then mastered. Bodies launch their long time coming, self titled debut album at The Arthouse on Friday 16th July.

Gravel and granite and a skinned knee.

Well done Charles. With all the expected activity that thread will gather it's a substantial effort to be the first poster. Good work on your exams too fella.

Get on it
After last Saturday I'm actually very excited about Friday. Everyone should come to the Arthouse.
I was there sat night til about 8 30, loved all the bands that were on, bones, bodies, feidlings. what was the rest of the night like? how was radiant city and FNAS and These hands?
Bumping for Friday.
It was a great night lalorl, all the bands played great and it was packed out. You should try make Friday, it'll be awesome I promise.
i'll be there! may not be in fine form though, but i'll buy your album. how's that?
yes i will try to attend, i want the new records, ive done isola to death and its time to move on. im going to the old bar saturday night to see single twin also!
hang on- there's new fnas? (admittedly it has been awhile..)
dunno, i only based my comments on your comments above mine, unless you were referring to bodies, which would make more sense. i think new fnas will be out at year end.
oh yep, i was referring to bodies. that's more sensical.
yes, as much as i would love to share the new album it has not actually been recorded. this will be happening on august 5,6 and 7. and it will hopefully be available by the end of the year at the latest. we are already planning very special things for the launch, which seems rediculous at this stage but it will be mega huge.
back to bodies, the album is awesome and well worth the 10 bucks it costs.
Tomorrow night folks
Had a listen to the cd the other night. Great stuff. Most impressive
Is that the 'new' Audition gaytar all over the feedback parts?.
Sounds good, snicey. Looking forward to tomorrow.
I'll try and make it down, just so I can see you attack your forehead again with a mic :]
Tonight
Yes. Yes it is.
LOL.
Gonna be a good night, methinks.
new shit sounds rad. matt just played a bunch of songs on Burning Vinyl. Have a great show tonight. I'm going to the Om show so won't be able to make it.
Finally feel ok again. I found my boundaries last night.
You got your money's worth!
I liked, I think it was, song three, where Joel kept asking us to ''look at this guy''. Sometimes it takes a big hairy rock'n'roll band for a man to truly find himself.
sunday, 3.33pm. still recovering.
Thanks to everyone that came along. Was a hell of a fun time.
This album's is great!
I don't like the faceblood stuff though, take care of yer brains!

Bodies play The Bendigo Hotel this Friday 10th:
Bodies.
Used to be a giant octopus until they decided to become a band. Seems to be working out for them apart from the fact that they can't change their appearance anymore. The heads they... have are a bit rough.
Poison Oak
Gamblers that formed a band to pay back debts they incurred when they played against the mob boss of Ascot Vale Chickenfingers Gordon. They're paying him back $20 a fortnight and he seems cool with it.
Ferry Tails
Pretty sure these guys used to be in a trombone playing family band until the band realised they weren't actually related to anyone so they split off on their own. It's been described as an amicable split though.
Mikey Madden.
The token wild man on the bill. I once saw him eat a whole car. A Hyundai I think it was. He also has a shark for an elbow. True Story...
Sure thing, hairy. Will see you there Friday night.
Tonight.
