Tour De France 2010

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago  or at  8:12PM on Saturday, June 26 2010 in competitions

There's only 1 week to go today, get rid of this World Cup nonsense and give me some blokes in lycra on bikes!

Create yourself a fantasy TDF team here.

Get excited! (Somewhat NSFW)

nsfw? i don't see anything except a fine cycling specime... oh.

right, gotcha.

FrankieTeardrop  said about 1 year ago:

I'm quite looking forward to this. Good memories of the last two Tour De France seasons.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

Crashes, crashes, crashes!

Can't wait for the cobble-stones tonight, will Cancellara pull a repeat of the Paris-Roubaix?
Is there a tiny motor hidden inside his bicycle?
Ah the intrigue!

go_boogsie_go  said about 1 year ago:

yay TDF podium girls.......

I was wondering if the poker dot girls wear undies with poker dots. I guess not

go_boogsie_go  said about 1 year ago:

Nice to hear that Contador is already bruised and battered even though he didn't crash. I dislike him more than even Armstrong.

Bummed I probably can't watch the cobblestoned stage tonight. Mountains next week will be swell viewing though.

kuroneko  said about 1 year ago:

Stacks of stacks for the last two nights, cobblestones will be worse tonight.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

Bring on the carnage!

goldfoot  said about 1 year ago:

The tour has been brutal this year. So many crashes. I'm not enjoying seeing all these riders getting hurt at all.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

The hell of the north!

Amazing.

gabbo  said about 1 year ago:

i forgot to record this. any ideas of where to watch highlights? (other than SBS)

littlesmoke  said about 1 year ago:

Watching this year is reminding me that we were there last year & makes me miss France. On the plus side....less than 12 months now until we are there watching it again!

Hmmm.. if it was raining that would be grand.

Nap away, I'm still undecided on having a night out or not.. my wallet and body says no, my brains activity co-ordinates angle on the yes..

kazpatafta  said about 1 year ago:

Wallet definitely says no for me too, but the Sabbatical thing won't be too harsh on it.

K nap time, let us know what you end up deciding.

Hellzapoppin  said about 1 year ago:

Shall do. Time to watch me some highlights.

anonymous  said about 1 year ago:

good work Schleck.

goldfoot  said about 1 year ago:

Updates? I'm stuck somewhere without a TV.

goldfoot  said about 1 year ago:

Poor Schleck. He's going to lose by 39 seconds, exactly the amount of time he lost on the stage when he had his mechanical failure.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

Back to regular sleeping patterns, it was a great tour though...a good battle till the end.
Apparently SBS will be showing 4 stages of the Tour of Spain this year, woo!

basil seal  said about 1 year ago:

I can't believe that Schleck's still in the white jersey. Dude's gonna challenge Armstrong's rekkid by the time his career's out.

Hellzapoppin  said about 1 year ago:

anonymous  said about 1 year ago:

woo go Andy Schleck!

kazpatafta  said about 1 year ago:

Cuntador.

Probably head in to Fed Square Sunday Morn to see the start of the Road Race if you're also keen, Hellza.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

What time do they start on Sunday morning? Might be preferable to battling down to Geelong I guess.

kazpatafta  said about 1 year ago:

10 or 10.30 I think. Geelong would be better but I'm lazy and poor (even more so than usual after today)

Hellzapoppin  said about 1 year ago:

If you can find a start time and I can manage something that resembles sleep on Sat night, then I'd certainly be up for the start. The bus is back on the road as well, so Geelong is always possible.

CryMeARiver  said about 1 year ago:

Allez allez allez!

hyperfuzz  said about 1 year ago:

ha, my dad just road up mont ventoux in his king of the mountains jersey...

puke_spit_and_guts  said about 3 months ago:

so who did win?

littlesmoke  said about 3 months ago:

Don't they just make it no winner for that year?

We are going again this year...only 5 months to go until a month in France!!!

so who did win?

''CYCLIST Andy Schleck said he is not happy he has been declared the winner of the 2010 Tour de France in the wake of Alberto Contador's two-year suspension for doping, this morning declaring he has always believed his Spanish rival was innocent of the charges against him.''
