I reckon go with this one, move your Lion Burger over Tangy.

yoghurt  said about 1 year ago:

I like this name but the other thread is more popular. Im freaking out.

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

I am re-posting my last burger reviews as I need them immortalised.

Had this burger at The Orient Hotel in The Rocks in Sydney when I was there for Noise Night the other week. The patty as you can see was THICK and delicious, if a little overcooked. Pretty simple ingredients combined well so that nothing stood out more than it should have. One of my pet burger hates is if the cut the tomato too thick/put too much on and you can really taste it and feel the gooey texture. Yuck. Bun was cripsy with just a whisp of flour on the top. Fries were crunchy and saltly. All up a very good pub burger.

7.5/10

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

This is as generic as a fish and chip shop burger gets. From Uncle George's on Sydney Rd in Brunswick as quick dinner before a gig, so it served it's purpose but not in style. The ingredients and bun didn't exactly taste fresh and the shop itself was in a state of disrepair and full of fading oil stained misspelled notices on A4 paper.

Way too much tomato. Doesn't look like it in the pic but I'd already taken most of it out by then. It was still kind of yum though, despite being crappy.

3/10

Charles Dumar  said about 1 year ago:

I'm sticking with this one too.

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

Lion meat burgers for the world cup

''A Mesa restaurant owner is providing customers a South African experience to honor the World Cup on Wednesday and Thursday, serving burgers made with African lion meat...''

yoghurt  said about 1 year ago:

I have decided this is the burger thread for me. Im taking a stance.

I have the utmost respect for Mr. Dumar, and would never criticise his lifestyle choices.
But I'll be fucked if I'm going to post in a ''Buggerers Guide to Burgers'' thread.

happycow  said about 1 year ago:

This thread has now completely devoured other burger news:

LaxCharisma said 10 minutes ago:

I said...has anyone had the Maccas ''Shrek'' burger and is it shit?

Charles Dumar said 10 minutes ago:

Shit! Just started the same thread.

yoghurt said 8 minutes ago:

Oh! what do we do now?

Burger eaters unite or devide?

happycow said 8 minutes ago:

We're going to have to make a choice...

LaxCharisma said 7 minutes ago:

ANSWER ME!!!

yoghurt said 6 minutes ago:

Lax: I had the small chicken wrap that has shrek mayo (shreks sperm) and it wasnt to bad at all!

But no shrek burger......yet....

Charles Dumar said 6 minutes ago:

You're either with sauce or against sauce.

tangy_zizzle said 6 minutes ago:

I haven't had the shrek burger. I have no intention of trying it either, as I am done with McDOnalds, but I'm curious to read reviews. Shrek is the biggest sellout cartoon character ever.

Charles Dumar said 3 minutes ago:

LaxCharisma said 3 minutes ago:
ANSWER ME!!!

HA! I love that you posted in three threads and everyone was still ignoring you...

Sorry Lax.

I haven't tried it either.

LaxCharisma said 2 minutes ago:

OK...I haven't been to Maccas for a long time either. I just saw the adds on the TV and I'm a sucker for advertising ''Oh new shit! I should be eating that!!!''.

I probably won't try it either.

happycow said 2 minutes ago:

Hello other Burger News 2.

I'll give Shrek Burger a review this afternoon. Does it have green tomato sauce?

yoghurt  said about 1 year ago:

I have beef with Grilld. STupid bitch pissed me off and I havent been back since.
They where doing some Moustache eat free type deal. I had a handlebar mo that was ''connected'' to the burns. Apparently, somewhere in their hidden rule book of free shit, if the mo is ''connected'' then its a no go zone.
Fuck you grill

The Troubadour in London. Excellent burg, and for the same price as a far smaller Byron burger you get good sides.

MrsGideon  said about 1 year ago:

Wikipedia definition:

A moustache (American English: mustache;[1] pronounced /məˈstɑːʃ/ in RP and /ˈmʌstæʃ/ in General American) is facial hair grown on the upper lip. The term implies that the wearer grows only upper-lip hair while shaving the hair on his chin and cheeks. Growth of facial hair around the whole face constitutes a beard.

Let's hope In 'n' Out Burger don't fuck up the Aussie version the way Taco Bell did. They took mist of the Mexican out of it to appeal to braindead bogans. Who ever heard of chips with tacos?

Dexter Ramone  said 16 days ago:

To be fair, the American Taco bell is horrible as well.

A&W came to Australia a few years ago, not sure if it's still around but it was horrible. the Canadian version was fantastic

Oh to have some onion rings from a B.C. A&W... drool.....

Has anyone travelled to the states and eaten a steamed burger? A kind a specialty cooked with cheese, that looks pretty awesome.....

rigid  said 16 days ago:

Highways. We ate some real Mexican when we had the chance but we were touring and usually had about $8 between the three of us for the day's food.

HEaring rumours of a 50s themed diner in Epping Plaza that does good burgers. Sounds appealing but it does involve a trip to Epping. Anyone experienced this place?

Has anyone experienced the burgers at the 50s themed diner at the coburg drive in?
