I had a pistol pulled on me by a Federal cop in Wellington Parade once. He was an old mate, who did it for a joke.
Oh how I laughed.

Police have locked down the Melbourne Park sports precinct and are searching for a gunman believed to be holed up in the area following a high-speed pursuit east in the city’s east this morning.
Heavily-armed police wearing bullet proof vests have been seen entering the precinct and motorists are being turned away from the area, home to Rod Laver Arena and the MCG. Those working in the precinct have been told to stay inside.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said officers were searching for a man believed to be armed with a gun.
The drama follows a police chase earlier this morning, in which a police car and another vehicle were were rammed on the Monash Freeway.
Witnesses said a blue Holden Commodore was travelling at up to 130km/h on the city-bound lanes of the Monash Freeway near the entrance to the Burnley Tunnel about 9.45am.
Callers to Radio 3AW said a vehicle had sped from the scene and was being chased by up to 10 marked and unmarked police vehicles.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman Paul Bentley said paramedics were called to the incident.

This is one of the best threads ever!
Ah the laughter.
my favourite part was the second ''didge'' pun.
Not as good as the N.W.A. change of lyrics.
Do you mean my pic of Didge out of Neighbours? If so, bow, if not sniff
he should have hired a Scarface costume.
Courtroom coda to an amusing thread:
Jailed for 'outrageous' two-day rampage
Megan Levy
.
A teenager who went on a two-day rampage across Melbourne armed with a double-barrelled shotgun last year has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
David Paul Rowntree said he felt like an invincible computer-game hero during the crime spree that forced the lock-down of the MCG sporting precinct and left residents, road-users and pedestrians terrified.
Rowntree's ''one-night snap'' began on June 21 when he inexplicably decided to rob a service station armed with a shotgun.
He broke into a number of homes in Melbourne's east while families were asleep inside, stole vehicles and led police on a dangerous, high-speed pursuit through Melbourne that Judge Damian Murphy today described as like a scene from ''World's Wildest Police Videos''.
The then-19-year-old ran into the MCG sporting precinct and dumped his weapon, forcing police to lock down the area, before he escaped on public transport.
''I feel really dumb to admit it, but I felt like the hero in the computer games ... but I really believed I was invincible (and) something really crazy happened when I got hold of a gun,'' Rowntree wrote.
The court heard that after dumping his shotgun at a tram stop near Rod Laver Arena, Rowntree caught a tram to Malvern where he bought a suit from an op-shop to change his appearance.
He then travelled to Geelong, where he robbed a house and stole a car before driving to Whittlesea, where he was eventually captured.
The court heard that Rowntree had 67 prior convictions, including for arson, burglary and dishonesty-related offences.
''For a young man who is still little more than four months shy of your 21st birthday, you have a formidable criminal record,'' Judge Murphy said.
But Judge Murphy said since Rowntree was imprisoned last year he had reconnected with his family, including his father, an academic, and mother, a school teacher.
He was also undergoing an anger management course, and expressed a desire to take up his religion again
However Judge Murphy believed Rowntree's prospects of rehabilitation were ''poor to fair''.
''Overall I find little evidence demonstrated of remorse,'' Judge Murphy said.
At the time of the spree, Superintendent Rod Wilson warned the public against approaching Rowntree, who was said to be of Spanish appearance and wearing siilver tracksuuit pants.
''We are extremely concerned that this chap may choose to end it in an unsavoury way and we do not want that to happen,'' Superintendent Wilson said at the time.
The teenager said on his Facebook page: ''It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees in fear.''
Rowntree was arrested by Special Operations Group police officers a day later while hiding under a piece of tin in bushland at Whittlesea.
Rowntree pleaded guilty to multiple offences - including reckless conduct endangering life, aggravated burglary and armed robbery.
At the time he was on parole after serving 16 months of a three-year youth justice order from a judge who had described him as a ''devious and out-of-control serial offender''.
In sentencing in the County Court today, Judge Murphy said Rowntree's offending ''can only be described as a rampage''.
''Your conduct was outrageous and must be condemned. The community however has an interest in your reform. You really are at a fork in the road as you commence your first term in an adult prison,'' he said. He sentenced Rowntree to seven years in prison, with a five-year non-parole period.
Rowntree was also disqualified from driving for six years.
Glad this ended happily.
God dammit..
Does that mean he can drive again about the same time he gets out of jail??
but importantly, he can't drive a car while in jail. which is good for the community.
Win win.
out in 4 years , wtf ?
well he didn't kill anyone.
his track record is appalling.
seem heavy to me.
u serious ?
I think Damian Murphy just let everyone in on one of his guilty pleasures.
