kurt wagner is a total genius (or, at least, he was. the last few things i've heard have been pretty uninspired)

"how i quit smoking" is my second favourite album EVER

Hey, new album! I haven't heard it, well I'm listening to the stream now. Just a heads-up really. I don't know if I really need another Lambchop album but I suspect I'll buy it. More of the same is not such a bad thing.

I like 'em, Nixon especially. The new one isn't getting especially great reviews . . .

ocelotl  said about 3 months ago:

Really? These don't look so bad. I figure he's a pretty known quantity these days, no big surprises (though there was that CoLab thing). I reckon there's a bit of genius on every album, couldn't pick a favourite and I have almost all of them.

And sum1, who is that in your avatar? Looks familiar but I can't place the, er, face...

ocelotl  said about 2 months ago:

Damn, this new album is fantastic. Three listens in and I'm so very hooked. I bought the City Slang special edition which has an extra disc of alternative versions, but no booklet. What, no Kurt lyrics?! Does the standard edition have the booklet? Ah, never mind, there's a pdf on City Slang's site. It'll have to do. Still - beautiful album.

It was Sharon Tate. Now it's a bit of man-on-ape action.
