I'm sorry, it is for real. He was one of my best friends for going on 10 years. I thought I would post this on here because I knew he was a big part of the community and thought some of you would appreciate it. He was a beautiful and talented person and it is a horrible waste of a life. Again, if anyone knew Adam and would like to attend the funeral next Thursday then please email me. Thank you guys for the well wishes and I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I never met Adam, just read him, but am sorry not to have met him .... his writing was from the heart, so well crafted.. and he seemed like such a pure soul. My deepest condolences to all who were close to him. I'm very sad to think I won't read him here any more. Or ever meet him.

I've had a review of an album one of my bands released pinned onto my monitors for the last 4 years. It's the only one that I've kept because it was the closest it got to understanding the record truly for what it was. It made me proud someone had understood it in such detail. Only just then, as I read this horrible news did out of the corner of my eyes see his name at the bottom of the review. I never realized it was Adam. Fuck..

I didn't know adam well. S&F was exciting for me when visiting sydney and it was just one of many small showings of his support and passion for music. Warm thoughts to those who knew him best. RIP.

After all the rubbish that's been posted on M&N in 2010, this still stands as the most amazing thread… a collection of honesty, openness and emotion. A terrible shame, but a beautiful tribute. Still as sad and powerful 6 months on.
