Oh wow. I saw this when I lived in Germany in 2002. - freaking spectacular. It had a huuuuge following over there. Lots of kids with paint on their face.

I saw them launch the album when I worked a comic book convention in Auckland, 2001. The full lineup was The Tribe, Liam Finn's teen band Betchadupa, and Flying Nun space rock dudes HDU.
The Tribe (3 members) mimed to 3 songs in front of the closed stage curtains... They didn't even give them microphones:(

I believe Christian Rage Against the Machine appropriatiors Wash and indie pop band Pluto also appeared. Plus I got to meet the dude from Twin Peaks who later appeared in a Stargate show (I think). He is dead now.

Not really. Lex roots her. Which is a bit strange I think as there is no alcohol in this new world they've created.

Tonights episode was gripping. There is an evil cult led by a guy called... Geoffrey.
Geoffrey looks a bit like a women and his cult is called the chosen. They wear gowns and worship the dead leader of the locos - Zoot. The chosen have kidnapped his baby and ex and used the ex (a sooky overacting girl) to infiltrate the tribe.
Plus lex broke it off with the fat lady and is now having a crack at the asian girl called tarzan who ended up in neighbors.

Those 3 girls are quite annoying and the first shit bit of show. Hopefully lex will kill them. The fat blonde guy had a pretty good crack at choking one on them.

Geoffrey and the chosen have conquered the city, and lex and brady rolled their go-kart and may be dead. The good news is that wolf died when jack threw him down some stairs.
Wolf's outfit was like John Candy's from space balls. Or whoever played the dog character. (Dom Delouise perhaps?) Pretty shit anyway and it bummed out the apocalyptic vibe, man.
