That pub is actually The Strathfield Hotel, jose. The main room is called the platform 9 bar - it's a kinda railway station bar of yesteryear theme, gas-lantern light fittings, old red leather train carriage seats in the booths, the old-school wooden rotary slat station signage on the back wall, dark mahogany tables and stools, etc.

We thought it would be appropriate artwork cos we're all old carnce.

I'm gonna hit that pub the next time I'm in Syd.

It was a pleasure to watch GOLDEN MEAN @ Ding Dong last thursday night & then Sat @ the Old Bar. I couldn't make it to The Commercial on Friday night as I had to rest my liver from the previous night's playtime. I heard that the amount of booze sunk wesside WAS disrespectful to livers worldwide.
Dirty, chunky, sweet & beautiful guitar stuff with, well, booty shaking beats & honestly inspiring tag-team vox. Be happy to have Golden Mean on your bill whether punter or player.

It was a pleasure to watch TELECOM @ Ding Dong last thursday night. I'm sure that they would have gone down an absolute treat @ the Northcote Social Club on Friday. Couldn't make it - see above.
These guys were channeling some serious energy into their ENTIRE set at Ding Dong. I don't know - vibrancy of youth or a pact with the devil? TELECOM's brilliance & colour mask a devastating kinetic energy.

It's all too much fun.
