Try his take on The Fall, or Communism, or Rough Trade Records... its all Genius...
This is not the first visit to Australia by Jeffrey Lewis, either, having appeared here in solo guise during April 2009 as special guest to fellow troubadour Darren Hanlon. This time however, Jeffrey is bringing The Junkyard with him. Not a literal junkyard... but his two piece bass and drums combo: The Junkyard.
Jeffrey Lewis is witty, authentic, reverential, and enthusiastic. He is alarmingly self deprecating, I bet he blushes when people praise him... Importantly, he is intelligent and informed. He is also highly entertaining.
