I love Coopers but Coopers Clear was a turn in a Bottle

But i can't finish off making up my own mind without hearing other people's minds first.

had doubts about their pilsener because of the shit name. but was possibly the best pilsener i've ever tasted.

More like Pure Blonde and other low carb beers. It's alright. I had some at Applecore but only because of the $10 six pack promo. Pure Blonde and St George Blonde are better similar beers. I didn't have an esky so they got warm pretty quick which no doubt tainted the experience.

Coopers had a Clear on the market in the mid 1990s, but they seem to have re-invented it. Not sure if it's the same yeast strain (apparently they used the same strain for both the original Coopers Clear and the god-awful-everyone's-forgotten-for-good-reason Cooper's Black Crow).

The original version was very good. Like Southwark Premium but drinkable.

I can give you my opinion of the Coopers Lager but not the Clear. But the lager's not in cans (I don't think) so you probably don't care.

It was on special last night in my supermarket. The 'watery' description above is accurate. I will not be buying again

Bud is actually pretty good. It seems to have a bit of a reputation as being shit, maybe due to being the default American beer and the dumb ''waassuuuppp'' commercials. Didn't drink much else while in the states and it always went down well.

bud is easy drinking and doesn't taste completely rubbish when warm (like vb, melb etc). suffers from unfair US beer stigma. it's flavourless, but tastes better than blondes, clears etc I reckon.

coors is a better option in the states happycow. Tangy. i think all beer is rubbish when a bit warm, i know it's blasphemy but i tip that shit out, bud is also a mid strength beer. Blondes and Clears are overrated, they remind me of when Carlton Cold came out in the mid 90's, what a hoax.

I'm waiting for Ben's opinion.
And if anyone would be a regular drinker of this Coopers clear. I liked coopers 62 It's good, good like a pen on a bit of paper when you're trying to write something, somewhat important or relevant for the time of writing that you're writing about. And it's not raining so your paper doesn't get wet and soggy and you don't have to sigh or anything like that.

I really love drinking beer and drink beer as often as I can and love to try new beers and I'd even drink a whole can of Coopers Clear if there was nothing else.
