Rob Pursey - Real Man Music

“Mixed last year, I shared it with a few people who I thought might appreciate it, but then let it sit on a hard drive for a while. However, after compiling and mixing a second volume (coming soon), I decided to post it here and Davey Boy Smith was good enough to hook me up with this perfect cover . As the title and tracklist suggests this is what I call ‘Real Man Music’, in other words some male vocal, quiet storm action across all genres, with the only theme being, well..some emotional business. Whilst I’m sure you’ll know a lot for the all-time classics they are, there’ll hopefully be a couple that may become future classics for you and whilst mixed it’s also been trackmarked, so if you only have five or ten minutes you can flick to your new favourite slow jam! However, the true way to enjoy is in one sitting – kicking back as the likes of Maze, Leroy Hutson, Toto, Dennis Wilson, The Originals etc. bare their soul for you.” – Rob Pursey

no takers on this?
It's as smooth as a baby's bum and contains Kenny Loggins! C'mon people - get with the hip sound.
did anyone download this and give it a spin? It's the best mix I've heard in a long time - can't wait until he makes Vol 2
i'll grab it later just 4 u.
haha - yes, I know i sound desperate and no, the mix has nothing to do with me! I just thinks it's amazingly done and how the context makes even Phil Collins sound soulful.
he's often soulful!
on it right now.
I'll bite.
did you dig it Hillsong?
plus, incredible hulk cover (?)
Needs more El Duce!
Arthurly - I dug it. Some yachty stuff I hadn't heard before. Was a bit annoyed at the callsign thing every so often being very loud and ruining the mood.
Hillsong, any impressions on your Mess and Noise mix?
Yeah, the call sign shit does ruin the mood. Good mix otherwise.
