So much on in Adelaide at the moment! Will try to make it to 7 gigs this weekend (counting 2 last night as the start of the weekend). And then next week is the 4 day Womad - plus Pavement at Thebby and Curse Ov Dialect at Higher Ground squeezed in there somewhere ... and have to miss the Necks :(
Hopefully the Format opening night bands play fairly late on Saturday so I can still make it after the London Sinfonietta.
Amazingly the closing night for Format doesn't seem to clash with anything else! Looks good, haven't seen the Fkn Tutts for quite a while.
I heard talk of something on at Format next Thursday - any details?
One more thing, if anyone wants something else to go to after the Supermild show tonight I'll put in a good word for Satan's Cheerleaders playing their last show for a few months at the Cranka at midnight.
Also coming up on 13th March (same night as Dinosaur Jr, we know) at the Metro: Hit the Jackpot (reunion show with Seb), Naked on the Vague, Sound of Mercy Killing and one other (was going to be Birth Glow, but one of them had to work)
The clash with Dinosaur Jr might not be too bad. Shows at Fowler's tend to be all ages now and finish early, so it might be possible to go to both.
from the Format guide...

anything good on next week?
I'm playing other peoples music in a ''DJ Format'' at Two Ships (29a Twin Street, under the Jade Monkey) from 9ish.
If you like Coopers Pale Ale, post-punk, post-hardcore and math rock, come along.
Oh, that's on Friday the 10th.
In town for work, staying at the Arkaba- anything on tonight?
Great fucking thread btw
Grab a Granny at the Ark!
Yeah it's fair fucking grosse here. I settled on grabbing a six pack instead. Good to know this place has pedigree though
A bit quiet at the moment, the calm before everything goes nuts at festival time.
Maybe a bit late now, but usually the Grace Emily is the place to be on a Monday, not much else happens on Monday nights.
Don't know anything much for the rest of the week until Laneway. Probably everyone's having a rest after Lost City.
I should include the obligatory mention of a DJ set at Two Ships - I'm there on Thursday.
Ooops.
I'm there on Friday night.
OK!
Must get to the GBP-O Adelaide festival visit. Stretch it to 1 or 2 weeks around start of March and Do it Right.
What's the new A thing to check out?
