After selling more cassettes than Madonna did in 2009, pop-clairvoyants Milk Teddy will launch their second ever release; a 7'' featuring the tracks 'Going to Sri Lanka' and 'Be With Me Again Tonight'. Released by the snotty brats at Knock Yr. Socks Off Records and limited to 200 copies!!!
Joining Milk Teddy on the night, and across two stages, will be mates the Woollen Kits, who play fun and sweet garage punk; the devastating psych-folk act Seagull; hook-parlayers the Motifs and a special, for-one-night-only performance from symphonic pop architect Evan Meagher.
This is also the band's last gig before Cousin Rachel relocates to old Deutschland for a while, so come to help her feel even worse about leaving Melbourne and give her ample reason to come back ASAP or, as she is wont to say, 'stat'.
Doors: 8pm.
Cost: $8, or $13 with the 7'' (assuming they arrive in time!!!).

This song has been one of my faves for the past month or so. Makes me feel something like the way I feel when I listen to Stereolab and Television at the same time but through different ears. Looking forward to owning it in the vinyl sense.
