musics not terrible, but the best thing is the bio

Goal attack  said about 2 years ago:

just listened to the old ep stuff, held up quite well actually.

monkeyman  said about 2 years ago:

I have heard much of the new album.

Possibly even more than the actual band members.

I like it.

Maybe one day I'll get to buy it on a shiny disc.

We've waited and finally got Chinese Democracy, Neil Young Archives and Christmas On Mars.

But Telecom keep us waiting....

poofpoof  said about 2 years ago:

A dude told me the other day he has a philosophy on life; ''we're all going to die''.

Depressing! the lot of you.

FrankieTeardrop  said about 2 years ago:

That's not a philosophy. It's a statement of fact.

FrankieTeardrop  said about 2 years ago:

Now harden the fuck up sooks and play some rock'n'roll.

Telecom: That Beer They Had For One Night Was The Best Thing They Ever Did.

(And it wasn't even done by them.)

poofpoof  said about 2 years ago:

You should do the beer again. With any luck Telstra will sue you, it will be the best publicity ever.

Mess and Noise might even cover it!

bigdaddykane  said about 2 years ago:

Never gonna happen. Not the beer - we love the beer- I mean Telecom covered on Mess and Noise. Telecom's way too commercial. But TTFM's online magazine however...

josejones  said about 11 months ago:

there's a lot of friction in the telecom camp at the moment. and we tend to slay other bands when we hate eachother. WATCH OUT.

redeyerobbie  said about 11 months ago:

I've told you to stop rubbing up against each other so much. That'll reduce friction.

Goal attack  said about 11 months ago:

you need this:

Goal attack  said about 11 months ago:

Is it really the last show tomorrow or just a smartarse facebook comment?

you took this seriously?

I'm playing a gig with Melbourne's best band YIS at The Tote tomorrow night. If you don't come you're officially dead to me. It'll be our last show ever.

anyway, i'm very much looking forward to the telecom set; prepare to die is tops.

Lucky Telecom don't play any of Prepare To Die live then.

Precious bastards. Play what the crowd want!

Speak to the drummer!

devilwillride  said about 9 months ago:

To celebrate the sixth anniversary of Telecom's first and only gig, you can download Prepare To Die for free from bandcamp for a limited time only. Includes two bonus tracks not on the CD version. Enjoy...

bigdaddykane  said about 9 months ago:

What are the two bonus tracks, devilwillride?

monkeyman  said about 9 months ago:

Telecom's covers of Burn It Up/Where You Been? I believe...

bigdaddykane  said about 9 months ago:

I'd love to get the tabs of them two.

devilwillride  said about 9 months ago:

Covers of Lesbian Seagull and Fleetwood Mac's Songbird.

bigdaddykane  said about 9 months ago:

Seriously, I know one of them is Bermuda Triangle. What's the other?
