Ace garage soul. Similar to King Kahn & The Shrines I s'pose but some parts are a little smoother while other parts are a little rougher. Rock 'n' roll with a horn section and a whacked-out Jimmy Reed-esque beat (as interpreted by James Brown).
Just found out that they're playing the Espy in Jan. Awesome!

They're fantastic. Got an album out too.
Yeah. I picked the album as one of my top-10 for the year.
Cute cover.
Saw these guys in New York earler this year and they were sizzling. Newer album Scandalous is even better than their debut.
Unfortunately still no word of sideshows to accompany their Splendour spot. I'm starting to give up hope

Fuck...they're playing a few doors down from my house on the same weekend I drive to Victoria to see them at Meredith.
Tickets purchased ... Oakleigh is gonna be the new Booty City.
Slayed Oakleigh last night. Perfect venue for a really enjoyable show. If an indicator of effort is a sweat saturated shirt, then the man put in a blinder.
was a fine one indeed.
I picked up prince tickets after meredith awesome.
this is why sideshows should be after the festival.
Good show last night, indeediliy-do.
I'd love it if they waited a few extra days for sideshows til Thurs or Fri when my brain has unmelted.
