Kid Sam + Psuche + Otouto + Seagull + Nick Huggins
Sunday 22nd November, 5pm
In the 3rd installment of The Cad Factory 10 month program of live recording, filming and art parties, the Cad Factory and Mobile Industries present a special feature of the bands from Melbourne label Two Bright Lakes.
Two Bright Lakes are known for throwing parties and shows around Melbourne that include visual art as a large part of creating dynamic space for people to enjoy sound.
The line up includes critically acclaimed Kid Sam, avant-pop wunderkids Psuche, Otouto and Seagull as well as a special solo performance from producer/musician/visual artist Nick Huggins.
Oscar Slorach Thorne, Nick Huggins and Blake Byron Smith will provide the video/projection art.
i'm really, really excited

damn, what a day. last two times I saw psuche they were jaw-droppingly good as a two-piece. totally inspired.
Yes, this interests me.
the psuche album'll definitely be in my top 5 of the year.
wait. are you connected with the organisers/is that for real? 4pm start?
well, it is a sunday
facebook says 5pm
i am going to try my darndest to be at this show coz psuche are tops and i want to hear more from otouto (and possibly learn how to pronounce their name proper like)
oh to you toe
?
i'm debating between oh-toe-too and oh-too-toe
i think it's the latter? not 100% sure.
no, actually, mine's right. i heard Hazel Brown say it.
er, it says it's free on that poster and then directly beneath it says $15 at the door??
would love to spend my birthday eve at the Cad factory, but don't think I'll have $15 to my name after all the other stuff going on this weekend
The Nick Huggins Solo Show is bloody good as well!
so whats the deal tig? is it a free show? and how do we pronounce the band name?
Its 15$ - that's an older flyer - sorry!
and the band is pronounced OT (as in OTter) O (as in Oh) U (as in Ooo) TO (as in toe)
hope that helps...
ah, that's cool...should be there anyways, in me cricket whites
maybe someone will take pity on an old man and lend me a tenner
is there a bigger version of the flyer anywhere?
poo, i didn't go. the heat in the day just saps all my energy. i'm not looking forward to the summer.
next time.
amazing show tinyman, sorry you missed out. Psuche are a tapes and keyboards wonk hop duo now, it's amazing!
everyone was pretty amazing last night.. small crowd, heat, don't blame you..
