This no break between bands thing, and the fact there's no shite bands, is going to make going back home 5 minutes walk away to sink beers more cheaply a bit more difficult

tangy_zizzle  said about 2 years ago:

I'll be there for lunch in the beer garden I reckon. Can't wait.

katiepotatie  said about 2 years ago:

woot!

StainedCircles  said about 2 years ago:

15 minutes between bands in Melbs, you can do it!

StainedCircles  said about 2 years ago:

hahaha. Did Dan or Johanna walk away from the puter just then?

anonymous  said about 2 years ago:

thats a royal headache lyric ain't it?

cheezel  said about 2 years ago:

wow.......i don't know any of them bands!?!

i'm TNT super lame SLUG GUTS!

StainedCircles  said about 2 years ago:

Yes Royal Headache lyrics. Listening to them on Morris' live at Syd FO recording and FUCK ME A RAY it is sensational. That song has the sickest lyrics... So far I listened to Deaf Wish, Eddy Cuz and Royal Headache - best live recordings ever.

ATT: MORRIS - COME TO MELBOURNE AND RECORD THE GIG THIS SATDEE!?

postergirl  said about 2 years ago:

Is this sold out? I've got a commitment later in the evening but could possibly come for a bit.

shaun  said about 2 years ago:

I wish I could do it all over again.

Repairs + Native Cats = awesome.

kazpatafta  said about 2 years ago:

Yeah Morris come ya cunt, free accomm!

I am Morris  said about 2 years ago:

IF YOU GET ME TO MELBOURNE I'LL FUKEN DO IT.

But not to worry, I have a friend down in Melbourne who is attending and also records. If he knows what's good for him, he'll record Repairs and Dick Diver.

StainedCircles  said about 2 years ago:

See if there is a car/van coming down you can jump into Morris!

Block  said about 2 years ago:

throws $20 in towards Morris' fare

I am Morris  said about 2 years ago:

You've all seen it mess and noise. Get a road trip going.

chelloveck  said about 2 years ago:

Woollen Kits  said about 2 years ago:

Someone called Adam, I think.

I’m running low on funds at this point so a trip over to the bottle shop sends me into the alley for the next 30 minutes or so. The cops drive right past, but luckily don’t spot me in the shadows knocking longnecks down. (Adam, I’m so damn proud of you - not-that-we-encourage-that-Ed)

StainedCircles  said about 2 years ago:

that is one of the most disgraceful reviews I have ever read. I really don't know what else to say.

lozz  said about 2 years ago:

i was disgusted when i read this today. how could you write a review like that and then even get it published? urgh. i was (and still am) sorely disappointed. what a waste.

kuroneko  said about 2 years ago:

That ticket could've gone to someone who actually gave a flying one about seeing some familiar and not-so-familiar bands.

~NipplesAhoy~  said about 2 years ago:

He must've been busy drinking his longnecks when Native Cats were on. Yet another review that doesn't mention them! They were AWESOME.

Woollen Kits  said about 2 years ago:

I'm so sick of reading reviews of Super Wild Horses that only mention that they are two attractive ladies.
DUH, they also play redhot fucking loud pop tunes you shithead.

FrankieTeardrop  said about 2 years ago:

That review is sloppier than a Twerps middle-eight.

Seriously, don't they teach kids anything in music journalism school these days? Don't just write about how pissed you got; at least tell us about what you had for dinner and what random people in the crowd were wearing. And don't mention any of the bands until the third paragraph!

Bugsy.  said about 2 years ago:

seriously , the street press melbourne is worth every cent you pay for it

kuroneko  said about 2 years ago:

I should probably upload my photos, eh?

Woollen Kits  said about 2 years ago:

Do it!

anonymous  said about 2 years ago:

bump for daytime beat review reading.

Zaphod  said about 2 years ago:

music journalism school

ha.

Don Barzini  said about 2 years ago:

While I agree with everything I said, including the large amount of superfluous detail was obviously a pisstake. Next time i'll make sure to stick to regurgitating a press release and not form any opinions of my own.

I fucked up and put the name of a Sardine V track instead of the X track - both bands featuring Ian Rilen. Give me a break.

memphis  said about 2 years ago:

you are forgiven, if, and only if, you send me a copy of said sardine vinyl

tangy_zizzle  said about 2 years ago:

TEEN ARCHER!

liamsnice  said about 2 years ago:

ooohhhhhhh, controversy.

Block  said about 1 year ago:

bump of disappointment

anonymous  said about 1 year ago:

its just on hiatus, like atp.

blake3030  said about 1 year ago:

So when's this stupid hiatus gonna be over?

rigid  said about 1 year ago:

I can't speak for anyone else, but I can't imagine organizing another festival on that scale again. I like two band bills when you get home in time for tea.
