I thought The Dark Knight was overrated, but The Prestige and Memento are fantastic. This time Christopher Nolan has Leonardo Dicaprio and Juno and a bunch of others in a sci-fi thriller.
Serious Matrix vibe off the trailer.

Memento and The Prestige are both fantastic. Insomnia too. I also like the Batman ones. Basically Christopher Nolan is fantastic.
The Prestige was hilarious. Wouldn't call it good but.
who's Juno?
Ellen Page, who played Juno in the movie of the same name.
Who's Ellen Page?
nar, ignore me, i'm being stupid.
and honest too. haven't seen Juno.
Slightly longer new trailer - adds Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy and Ken Watanabe.
Looks like Dark City
ha. looks like fun.
Opens two weeks from Thursday locally - near unanimous raves overnight from the first American media screenings.
This is the one blockbuster I'm genuinely excited about this year. Latest trailer.
Very good reviews on At The Movies.
I saw it last week - one of the best films I've seen in ages. Don't read too much about it before you go because part of the fun is just watching as the story unravels and things start falling into place.
Psyched.
I heartily concur. I had high expectations, and the movie by far exceeded them. A truly great movie. I can't stop thinking about it...
the man and i are seeing it on friday night. can't wait.
I'm actually looking forward to this..
I never gave it much though until last night's review by Dave and Marg... They were talking it up bigtime
I was meant to go to a private preview screening last night, but then had to stay back at work or night because my boss is an idiot
hm, it was neat but wasn't quite the mind-blower i was hoping for
however i would quite like to live in the place where they filmed the hospital scenes
The Dark Knight precipitated a three month long bilious rant. My most hated film, yes even above The Matrix. I have not seen any other Nolan flick out of fear.
Will I like this film or will it lead to lifelong scars of bitterness like that Batman pile of crap?
(I'm not a film snob, eg I think Escape From LA is an awesome film that is vastly underrated because it is a different kind of film to the classic Escape From New York)

i hereby conclude this film was a massive waste of my time.
Go hire Date Night. Balance it out.
Or watch the IKEA 100 Cats ad non-stop for 2.5 hours.
no thanks. i will just buy a lettuce with no heart from the preston market, take it home, take acid and peel off each leaf one by one. then i will buy another lettuce and do it all again.
But how do you know if it is really Preston Market?
How do you know if it is your or someone's dreams?
That was a fucking fantastic review of Inception! GENIUS! ENCORE! MORE!
ah man. I AM REALLY SORRY I DIDN'T LIKE INCEPTION.
I hope that wasn't directed at me - I genuinely thought your review was brilliant.
it was. i apologise, noneabove. i am extraordinarily sensitive right now and probably getting my period. i don't live with other women anymore so it's hard to tell.
How does it works?????!!!!
HERE
i had a dream. how apt. in which some movies award night, probably something silly like MTV, got mr nolan himself to make a big budget fake trailer for a sequel with most the original stars involved. there were scalpels flying round an operating room and multiple ellen pages fighting each other.
Oooh, gotta get the blu-ray asap!
When I think about it, I'm pretty pissed the whole 'make a map that takes longer to solve than to draw' thing was never mentioned again.
I really liked it. Ellen Page is awesome, so enjoyably unHollywood.
Anyone who tries to tell me this wasn't conceived on bongz though is lying.
THIS
i managed to completely avoid having anyone tell me about this film and now i've finally seen it.
it was FUCKEN RAD.
follow it up with shutter island, whatwhat. you won't know what day it is.
already seen that thanks september.
thought inception was heaps betterer.
Does Leonardo ever take parts that don't involve a character who is confused about his identity? He's kinda getting typecast.
