Yes, but I love Waits so find it flattering. It wasn't a conscious thing, I accidentally slipped into that voice at a gig (with another band) and liked it.

Mother and Son are my favourite from NSW and probably La Mancha Negra and Betty Airs from Sydney... I also really like Royal Headache but have never seen them live.

New album is FINISHED, done I tells ya. Super stoked.
12 brand new tracks which follow a single narrative. It'll be called 'Outlaws' and released in late March/early April through Spooky Records.

Sydney, Canberra, Maitland and Newcastle launches are locked in for mid April.
Brisbane will possibly happen in mid-March if not May. Melbourne launch we're looking at the last weekend of April.
CD and vinyl versions of the album?
A vinyl release will happen at some point, probably unlikely we'll see it at the same time as the CD though.
