What happened to Matador?

I though you had a sweet deal?

Innocent Bystander  said about 1 year ago:

huh?

diagrams  said about 1 year ago:

ok, here's the story-
matador are part of the beggars group who have in the last couple of years folded labels, shut down offices and generally struggled...they let us know they couldnt put out the next record almost immdediately after Mosaic was released in the US (long before we'd recorded anything new)- under pressure to cut costs, a relatively unknown band from Australia would have been seen as a tough sell to the powers that be.......

Innocent Bystander  said about 1 year ago:

yeah wow. understand their hard out situation, but sucks for you guys.

I'm sure you'll float ok though

FrankieTeardrop  said about 1 year ago:

That does suck, but the album will be a killer anyway, if the single is anything to go by. So everyone wins!

diagrams  said about 1 year ago:

Pageants are on first in sydney (feat. ben pell from you will die alone/ shark attacks...)

diagrams  said about 1 year ago:

STEWSTER  said about 1 year ago:

Have you guys got a link for your music?

diagrams  said about 1 year ago:

who is that directed at stewster? all three bands are on myspace...ours:
www.myspace.com/LoveOfDiagrams

thanks I am Morris, abit scared to listen, we had such a difficult night sound wise- it was just alot of low frequency rumble up there- its so hard to play well and enjoy yourself when the on stage sound is so offputting... next time we'll try somewhere else and drive up so we can use our own gear...

I am Morris  said about 1 year ago:

If you're thinking about it I'd recommend it. It comes through a lot better than it did on the night (Though I can't vouch for how bad it was on stage). It's actually really enjoyable to listen to.

Red Eye Records have started selling Nowhere Forever a little bit early. I picked it up on the weekend and I like it a lot.
