i came home today to find half a wheel of camembert that i have no memory of buying. went beautifully with the port that i also have no memory of acquiring

my favourite comfort foods are popcorn, vegemite toast with melted cheese, thai green curry and bacon and eggs

i don't reckon it was me, shygirl. port is the last thing i'd pick up at the 24 bottle-o. i think it may have been my houseguests, considering one of them is a port fiend and was last seen wandering down my street drinking straight from the cask

pasta with a sauce made from leeks, mushroom, anchovies and plenty of olive oil. just before serving and just after i add the pasta to the sauce, i stir through parmesean. i also use the oil from the anchovies but only if it's olive. made it last night for the wife and I. fucking rocked.

there's a thunderstorm outside! perfect comfort food weather especially since I'll be waiting at bus stops with no umbrella twice.

what should i eat? what should i make?

i like getting caught inthe rain when you know you're going home. get extra extra wet. wish i had bought some music with me today, even better.

gosh rain makes me happy which is surprising since it never fucking stops here

so anyway -food!!

last nights dinner was great, i was lamenting missing out on hungarian but mum made lamb shanks, with poached pears and hot chocolate sauce for sweets YUM then i wasnt so sad (or cold)
