is that THE sharon jones? if so, where's my fucking credit card?!
fffffffffffffffffffffffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkk
It is Sharon Jones, Sharon Jones. Yes.
Both M Ward and Joanna Newsom have sold out!
Someone please tell me they have spare tickets to Joanna's show on the 27th.
there's limited tickets on the day, right?
The 3rd Joanna show at NIDA goes on sale on wednesday via ticketek.
I'm assuming the little woodland elf is playing a Melbourne show too??
must remember to buy tix for lou
Moshtix still have tickets for Joanna's show on the 25th (same day as BDO) and two of three M Ward shows at the Spiegeltent
Does anyone know how seating works for the Spiegeltent - is it first come first served or preallocated?
there's also Shapeshifter at beck's festival bar. wicked live drum'n bass action. i know i'm down for it. boh!
spiegeltent is all general admission, so yep - first in, best dressed.
shapeshifter should be fully choice, bro. i haven't really heard their new album, so i hope they play some old stuff.
Incognito and I are seeing the Lost and Found Orchestra (Stomp) tonight.
and seeing Kiss of Life, one of those About an Hour plays tomorrow.
I'm off to small metal objects next tuesday

PJ!
Oh...good. Cause I saw some horseshit that Powderfinger had some big news to announce somewhere and all I could think was NOBODY CARES JUST FUCK OFF WOULD YA!!!
So anyway...it's 6:10PM what is this big fucken news...WELL???
Oh it really IS PJ Harvey. Cool.
almost upon us, announcement comes next wednesday. anyone want to stir the pot a little? pj harvey's been announced already... maybe j mascis, thurston moore, st vincent, beth orton, laura marling?
crossover with sugar mountain?
AA Bondy is touring around that time.
tom waits and radiohead are performing 'bad as limbs' in its entirety
The Decemberists have been mentioned on the Sydney festival twitter, just to stir the pot...
I'm pretty sure AA Bondy will be involved – already been announced for the Parramatta syd fest.
Other than that, Rahzel, GZA and Pharaoh Monche are doing a thing, and I won't be surprised if Tricky is announced for festival first night.
Any other ideas? I know speculation is futile given that the announcement is tonight, but still.

assuming Patton will bust out a bit of Adriano Celentano... as he is prone to do
Kinda softcockish.
they somehow arranged for Washington to do a show; what a coup!
