Henry Rollins, singer of Rollins Band, was arrested by Manilus police in San Jose California on Friday and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of cocaine.

The 48-year-old musician and two males were arrested at an apartment in San Jose, just after 2 a.m. Friday, when a patrol unit arrived on scene to inspect a nearby car with its driver’s side door left open, Police Capt. Bill Bothems said in a statement Wednesday.
According to Bothems, was visiting Marc Almond , 51, at his apartment when they had an argument and Almond drove off in Rollins’s vehicle.
Officers on patrol found a car parked across the sidewalk with an open driver’s side door at 2 a.m. After looking up the license plate, they found that it was registered to that address.
Bothems said that the officers who approached the house saw Rollins and Alexander Ford, 25, Almond’s roommate, at the kitchen table with a white capsule that later tested positive for cocaine.
Rollins was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of up to 15 years in prison.
Ford was also charge with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Almond, while not home at the time, was charged later Friday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Bothems stated that each individual was arraigned in Town Court with Rollins posting $10,000 bail for himself and $5,000 for Ford. Almond, however, was released on his own recognizance.
The nature of the relationship between Rollins and Almond remains unclear.

Eh, probably. I had a conversation on Enmore road with him about the nature of life and death many years ago.

Spoken word tour at the Enmore theatre a couple of years ago. Well, probably a lot of years ago now. I was walking back from getting some form of takeaway food and bam. His car pulled up at the cross street whatever next to the Enmore theatre where it meets Enmore road.
In the spoken word performance he'd spoken about his fear of death.
So I said ''Oh hey. Henry Rollins.''
He said ''Hey.'' In his grim Henry Rollins way and we had a conversation while his driver looked at me in a really odd way.
I mentioned that death was nothing to fear, as it was every bit as natural as being born and people have been doing it for thousands of years now.
He said ''Oh yeah..well, it's something I think about sometimes.''
And we discussed the issue from an Eastern Philosophy viewpoint. Well, I informed of it and he said ''Yeah, I don't know.''
I expounded upon the view of the living body as opposed to his aging carcass philosophy that he spoke about a little.
That was about it really.
Apparently due to things I've done on the internet, he doesn't like me all that much, but I think that came later, in the few brief discussions I've had with him, he's always been really polite, and he has a handshake like a thunderbolt.
Well, at least he used to.
When he shoke my hand after the discussion on Enmore road I thought ''Fuck. Now I get what all those cunts were saying when they said 'I'm never washing this hand again!''
Funny story though, a friend of mine had no idea who Henry Rollins was, and when watching Henry Rollins Live In New York said ''I don't get what the big deal is. He's like Alex only nowhere near as good.''
Funny moment actually, he and another friend of mine got in a fairly heated debate on the issue while I sat back drinking my beer and laughing quite hard.
I pointed out to said friend that while I may be more intelligent, more knowledgeable and more articulate, Henry Rollins has millions of dollars and is world famous while I am not.
