So who can suggest someone good, preferably on the north side of town. It's a JCM 800 combo that's got a intermitant but always reliable problem...
Any suggestions would be goo.
Thanks

He hasn't answered his phone today or last week - has anyone had him fix their amp recently?
I just spoke to him on the phone, gonna take my amp there later today.

ian rumpole is still doing repairs; just doesn't answer the phone much. best bet is to walk in there. west of brunswick st on argyle, out the back of warehouse sound as mentioned above. cheap and good!
does ian do speakers too?
i do speakers and amps.
For speakers go here: www.evatco.com.au
Cheap and good, I just replaced 4 x10's in my bassman, cost me $330 + mail, got them the next day.

Tim from labsystems does my amp, he's the best.
Yes Dave,
New Speakers, new Valves, it fuckin rocks!
kandos does stuff good. I like his rock-bottom prices and cynical attitude. He'll tell you why stuff sucks for free too.

Anyone got any hot tips?

My old dude George @ Aerial amplification has passed away suddenly.

Does anyone know anywhere at the moment?
Seems amazing how few places there are in Melbourne.
So anyone know of a good amp repair person at the moment?
My amp has been working fine but recently stopped working at a
gig then was working again when I got it home.
simon tregear
Not really repairs as such, but I'm replacing tubes in my amp and am in need of a bias probe. I can't find anyone in Melb who stocks these - Jaycar, music shops... got nuffin.
Any tips?
Anyone know of someone who can fix a Fender DeVille? Southside prefeable.
