and George being too up his arse to realise.
See what happened was this. They got all social right? Paul picked the way of the Queen, to maintain an order about things and to represent something to the people. John saw himself the evangelical type that had to get out in the pulpit and preach. this was the problem. John thought Paul was copping out and looking after his own bundle, Paul thought John was up his arse with a jesus complex and was embarressed by the ridiuclous shit John had been spouting in the media. George was just thinking about getting his royalties up, cos he didn't have enough songs out. And Ringo, was just the hired drummer hand anyway and no-body listened to him anyway.
Yoko was blamed cos she encouraged John to be real. If not for yoko then we wouldn't have 'jealous guy' etc. Paul just made shit because he closed up after baring it all in yesterday and the drugs freaked him out. he was already nuts at yesterday. think about the lyrcis. you'll get it.
Wrong
I couldnt be fucked. Ive had this conversation a million times.
George knew what was really happening - that's why he got involved with:
HAHAHAHA
Tea. That was my facebook picture when I had facebook.
yay drugs! woo hoo
whichever way you look at it, it kinda ends in tears eventually eh?
when Paul launches into those lame 'announcer' voices during Beatles songs i want to kick him square in the nuts. that and the fucking tubas in half the songs. bloody hell. how quirky. yeesh...
I prefer Yoko to The Beatles. Although her work with John-boy, Two Virgins and Plastic Ono Band , were pretty damn fine albums too.
Frankie, you are indeed a first rate coolsie. Who the hell could sit through 3 hours of Yoko and enjoy it more than 3 hours of Beatles?
Yoko albums are terrible. Complete and utter shite.
Opinion.
coolsie
i like her for what she brought out in john. i hate her shitty art. it's a love/hate relationship.
A lot of Fluxus-related art seems pretty quaint in retrospect, but you have to remember it was of its time.
When did Paul's acrotomophilia first become apparent?
that is what rubber-stamps john lennon as a brilliant pop artist. his songs are classic, timeless. like all good pop songs, they're zodiacs in that no matter what you're going through you can still bend them to be applicable to your life in some way. END COMMUNICATION
A rather big call there. D'you reckon if Lennon was around now, he'd get as far as he did? What would he be doing? He was very much a product of time and place in my view.
the content of a lot of his later stuff, ie. double fantasy, etc. when he was a solo artist - was definetely a product of the times. vietnam, cold war, etc were all in full swing so he had a teriffic muse and an audience that was willing to listen. having said that, i don't think it takes anything away from the songs and GO PEACE is a valid theme whether it be vietnam or iraq.
the genius of yoko's art
or, how to make 30 seconds of your time get a couple of months attention on the other side of the world.
