Mo  said 36 days ago:

15th feb in sydney is correct homeboy

gotta go to this

i was grounded when they played in 97 and couldn't go

bastard....

it woulda been way radder in 97 (as they'd do more off how to clean)

but this is gonna be totally radicaL

le_disco  said 36 days ago:

please be at the annandale :)

i want to go to newcastle/canberra shows too i reckon

Mo  said 36 days ago:

MichaelDudikoff  said 36 days ago:

TopherPlus  said 36 days ago:

Last time I saw these guys was in the Mechanics Hall in Canberra. I ended up standing on stage behind Chris because they just threw the doors open and people piled in.

Was fuckin insane.

Mo  said 36 days ago:

probably rex banner dude

who else...

le_disco  said 36 days ago:

hey ahhhh when is soundwave? february yeah? reckon they might be a late addition?

le_disco  said 36 days ago:

rex banana and homewrecker would be quite the party...

Mo  said 36 days ago:

i'd like to see the quickening, dick nasty, and lungs...

Mo  said 36 days ago:

or the optionals

i just think rex banner would get it cause they have a similar style

fast and techy

le_disco  said 36 days ago:

between the devil and the deep would be good

theblacklodge  said 36 days ago:

anonymous  said 36 days ago:

clicks fingers

theblacklodge  said 36 days ago:

Optionals would be sweet barwick!!!!

Mo  said 36 days ago:

nony - me and robbie's first band covered 2 propagandhi songs when we were lil fellas

chipswithgravy  said 36 days ago:

melbs? fingers crossed.

goingblank  said 36 days ago:

So they are playing Canberra? Where's everyone getting their info from? I'm outta the loop!

unvisible  said 36 days ago:

Awesome news. I saw them back in '96 or whenever they toured last. They played wearing two pairs of stars-n-stripes speedos between then three of them. Quite an eye-opener.

I second Mo's call for Dick Nasty and the Quickening to support. It would be some sort of travesty if the Quickening didn't play at least one show with them. Otherwise Conation should reform to play with them. My money would be on some dull-but-worthy political hardcore bands and/or shitty bombshell groups, though.

chipswithgravy  said 33 days ago:

oh my - that would have been kind of awesome.

ed  said 33 days ago:

This will be as amazing as it is unexpected. Will this be on the back of a new album?

McGauz  said 33 days ago:

i'm creaming my pants over this anouncement. Seeing Propagandhi live will complete a part of my existence.

ed  said 33 days ago:

I wiki-ed this. Doubly exciting news.

''The band began work on a new record in 2008, but as of November no release date had been set. Todd Kowalski stated on the Propagandhi website that the band was to start recording in October. During recent tours, the band have performed a number of new songs, including one titled ''The Supporting Cast'', a cover of Giant Sons' ''Repairing The Damaged Beard'' with vocals by Chris, and two as-yet untitled songs by Chris and Todd respectively.

On 5 September 2008, Chris Hannah stated on the band's website that ''to [his] ears the new record seems like it will resemble a nuclear-powered space-age composite of Potemkin City Limits, Less Talk More Rock, Giant Son’s Anthology and a carefully measured dose of Today’s Empires Tomorrow’s Ashes''.

On 13th November 2008, Todd Kowalski stated on the band's website that the new record is completed and touring will commence in February 2009.''

CryMeARiver  said 26 days ago:

I'd like to actively encourage the toughest man to dance as hard as he can to this, my song. and bring your stupidest friends along.

Mo  said 26 days ago:

did you know that when i was 9 i tried to fuck a friend of mine

he was 8 and i turned ten

14 years later it happened again

with another friend

this time with me on the receiving end

got me tix - can't wait - but wish i was never grounded when they toured in 97 :-(

it woulda been heaps more less talk and how to clean than this set (even though i love their later albums - seeing them in 97 would have been the be all and end all of everything)

i used to live in my less talk t shirt hahaha

McGauz  said 26 days ago:

tix to both shows!!! woooo :D

deadbilly  said 25 days ago:

liamisnice said 7 days ago: they came out with nofx. i think it was the white trash tour were all you can eat touring with nofx then as well? they were more fun that show

ed  said 23 days ago:

I actually reckon they get better album by album. But you know, horses and courses and such.

I hope this new one stays true to form.

McGauz  said 23 days ago:

Me too, ed. Me too.
