i hated this book very very much. it made me angry that this sort of crap is peddled to teenage girls to addle their minds about what sort of perfection to expect in a partner (minus, you know, the vampire bit).

and the boy they've cast to play edward is a bit ew.

seen all the press for this over the last few weeks on cable. looks like a piece of shit.

louis, At least these are well written crap. Better than sweet valley high or whatever equivalent is around these days.

the books are still a front for the christian right's abstinence only program though... I like a good vampire film but i'm not supporting the fucking christian right.

i saw the movie tonight, it was alright. it will definitely be a success with its target audience. i don't think anyone else will get much from them. they don't really have the intrigue or mythic sensibility of the harry potter series.

I'm seeing an advance screening of this on Sunday with friend... I had no idea what it was, and remember seeing the preview before another movie and where it says ''world #1 seller'' or some shit I was like ''I've never heard of it.. it can't be that good'' ;) and well... we'll see. Friend reckons it'll be awesome, I'll have a squizz
