Amazing! It must be my lucky day! I just got an email which reads....
''Ericsson are distributing free laptops for their brand promotion. They hope to increase their popularity and sale by this campaign. All you need to do is send an email about this to 8 people and you will receive an Ericsson T18 Laptop. However, if you send an email about this to 20 or more people, you will receive an Ericsson R320 Laptop Make sure you send a copy of your email to: anna.swelung@ericsson.com''
I really needed a free laptop! What a stroke of luck!
wow. you should totally email anna swelung and ask her what laptop you can get for posting it on a popular forum!
especially since the Ericsson R320 is a discontinued mobile phone
Yup, definitely nothing wrong here...
Amazing! I should get the biggest bestest laptop ever for posting the message here! Whoo!
The T18 is very small for a laptop, but comes in a range of colours, moke:

a friend sent me this same email about a week ago. someone else on the email list replied all to say it was a known hoax with a link to a site about it. it actually infuriated me that my friend sent me the email when to me, it is so blatantly obviously a pile of crapola. it was a friend who rarely ever emails me, yet suddenly had the energy and inspiration to find and use my email to contact me with this time wasting shit so she could supposedly gain from it. not only that but i think it's rude she felt comfortable with using my email details to send back to someone she doesnt know. the whole thing totally shat me off and i let her know this. i think i'm getting extra grumpy and intolerant the older i get. but honestly, who couldnt work out this was a load of bollocks?
snopes page on it here
Darn, it appears i have been hoodwinked. No laptop for me. What a shame.
Poor moke.
Poor anna.swelung@ericsson.com
Dastardly, cheating hounds! What a bunch of hoodwinking charlatans! Why I oughta!
You oughta have a ''DEATH TO ERICSSON LAPTOP SPAM'' night.
and only play swedish computer music?
(i got a pile of 7'''s that would go down a treat at that night)
Not a bad idea.
I can't believe... That you believed this email.. Jesus people are gullible..
Oh the ironing...
Hahahaha! It's true! I am a very foolish, gullible person! What a silly I am! I shall try to be less gullible in the future. Apologies to all, less gullible people!
gullibles travels!
With all the money Bill Gates is going to give me for forwarding his email, I'm going to be able to buy as many T18's as I want!
I don't get this scam.
Do they use the names that they get through the email to track people down and hurl outdated mobile phones at their head? Because if they did it'd kind of be cool... and justified.
Hey, moke!
Dell and Vodafone will offer the computer maker's compact netbook computer for $0 upfront
