Afternoon,
so i and a couple of my friends decided not to schoolies it up, so we've put on this gig with some of our favourite Sydney bands instead. Its at Megaphon Studios on 29th November, thanks to Shane Fahey being a pretty rad dude, and 10 dollars entry for the PA and bands. 7:30 doors.
Floor 2, Building 8,
70 Edith St
St Peters
its fairly easy to find if you take note of the building numbers.

awesome!
very awesome
The room is pretty wonderful and there's a huge balcony outside which'll be nice on a november night.
i find it pretty funny that the most effective method of drawing people to this gig will be facebook.
nice work whale
ghoul are the shittest band in sydney....
why so?
where's the facebook event?
I need to confirm my cool and press attending...

This Ghoul EP is really great, completely different to what I expected.

Anyway, this probably won't finish before 12 will it?

sweeettttt. this is tonight, looking forward to the laurels. and never been to this venue either.
jesus, totally underestimated sydney's motivation to leave the house. thanks guys.
cool - looks like despite all the different events (raves?) on around the traps most were well attended :-)
so pissed off (at myself) for not blowing off the work i had to do and go to this...
I regret going to see Pivot/My Disco instead of this. Although My Disco were better than amazing.
Any pics or stories?
It was raining, but it was the best show in a little while. couldn't get in the room for hungry lung which was upsetting, and i missed half of Ghoul walking mates to a bottle shop, but loved what I heard, missed out on the free ep though.
Laurels were amazing as always as were Ohana, a little more rough than usual (amp difficulties don't help), but that added charm.
Ghoul is probably one of the most innovative and talented young bands in AU at the moment. Really enjoyed seeing them on Saturday. If the world is just - these guys should have great things lined up ahead of them.
Ohana was also great - it was my feeling though that the shy audience (only about 20-ish of us remaining) deserved a longer set
oh and how could I forget: Ghoul played an awesome cover of My Bloody Valentine's ''You made me realise''
seconded.
This was an awesome show! Well done, whale, and the others involved.
Ghoul's YMMR cover was BRILLIANT! It was wonderful that there were 2 bands shamelessly ripping off MBV that night.. haha..
YOUUUUU
