HAND ME MY JETPACK

A brand spankingly old band return from the future to play their first ever show all over again NEXT WED NOV 1ST at Spectrum in support of Jakob (NZ) and (i think) Grand Fatal..

With members of degrees.k, Teenager, and i [love] Space combining to form a Voltron-esque musical ensemble of giant amalgamated robot proportions, come along and see it all begin.

is this stoltz new band?

frenk  said about 5 years ago:

no. me from iLS, Dean/Oscar from dK/Teenager.

Stoltz might be playing keys in the future but if yr haven't been there yet we're not allowed to say.

empra  said about 5 years ago:

aaaah, it's still the one i'm thinking of though.

i'm very very excited about this. yup. i wanna see that man drum again. holy bageezus.

i taught your bassist to cha cha.

frenk  said about 5 years ago:

ha! Dean Cameron is the most charmingly charismatic person on the planet already and now is armed with a well honed cha-cha! What have you created Empra!?!?

empra  said about 5 years ago:

Not exactly well honed... More like a, fuck knows what time @ vegas version. I kept stepping on his toes, and I was meant to be the one teaching... Oops. I've probably confused him more than anything, so don't worry. I've created the master of his own demise!

frenk  said about 5 years ago:

ahhh, the Vegas cha-cha. Indeed.

HMMJ the mini album from now defunct Hand Me My Jetpack. Download and dig on.

thenewmeatloaf  said about 4 years ago:

listening now, sounds good. hmm, maybe I should go out and see new bands sometimes.

knerf  said about 4 years ago:

Thanks Meaty :) You should probably try catch them before they break up ;)

Dean bass/vocals got a job in Honkers and left for o/s so we called it quits. Oscar (drums) and I have a new band in the works, will poke you with a stick when we get round to the live playing thing.

Rediscovered the album recently. Amazing - sad I never got to see these guys live. But then, out of the ashes of HMMJ came BTs, so it's not all bad.
