it was a very quick sale otherwise i would have organised a week to have all the great acts that have graciously played there to help give it a send off. and as liam said we're all eternally grateful for everybody's encouragement and help over the past years the afterdark was where we started and it played an important role in where we are now. so once again thanks to everyone who played / drank / talked shit and supported us.

Has anyone been into Kitty Somerset? What's it like? Do they do cocktails?

i think it's rad. not so much a fan of the cocktails as the range though, which is pretty great. comfy when it's not packed out. the bartenders are awesome, too.

They do cocktails but I haven't tried.

I'm not much of a beer drinker fortunately, so suits me fine! Curious to know what their range of beers are though. I should really make the trek up to check it out sometime.

I liked it when I went there - the bar staff were very nice, and there was some very nice fancy scotch available. That place and The Bender Bar are both great actually - a sweet stretch along High street, and usually not packed out.

...was also entertained by the fact that I once hosted this in the space's former incarnation.
