juat sleep in the van.
billabong gardens in newtown, just off king st. they have a lock up undercover car park for you to leave yr van.
just looking for exactly the same thing for next weekend. Dunno how we're going to go considering it's school holidays.
we used to stay in the sunrise lodge in newtown. pretty cheap and they have outdoor lockup for vehicles.... gate/padlock sorta thing.

surely BADALEX can put you up. he may even throw in a couple of hand-to-hand combat lessons for the 'lady friend.'
excelsior has rooms upstairs. might be good, might be shit?
thanks mess and noise, kisses computer screen
Cheap band accom
you could also pm kabukiboy about the pitz, he'll be able to tell you about accom there, if it's still happening
ummm...
i second billabong gardens. it's cheap and you have somewhere to put your car. my old band used to always stay there cause we could back in our trailer full of gear after the gig and then go drinking without worrying about it.
oh sorry email, i didn't see where yr link led...
don't i remember those nights hehe... funnily enough i was thinking of exact same former band when recommending billabong gardens
go to the pitz! i've stayed there for 10 days and it was awesome! matt and katie are the coolest hosts you could hope for.
plus it's just around the corner from the Marrickville RSL- cheap schooners!
We've ended up booking the Y Hotel in Chippendale. Booked it on lastminute.com and it's costing us $145 a night for four of us (including breakfast).
