triple j TV wants to talk about your image

Triple J Journalist  said about 3 years ago  or at  12:56PM on Thursday, August 28 2008 in chat

Triple J TV's Hack Half Hour is putting a show together on image. It's a youth current affairs show for 16 -30year olds. Our central question is How far would you go to maintain your image? We're looking for guys and girls who go all out spending a lot of cash and time on the way they look. Be it designer clothes and sunnies or spray tans, hair extensions and a personal trainer. We want to know why looking a certain way is important to you.

THE ANTI IMAGE IMAGE
Or are you against mainstream image expectations? Do you do your own thing, have your own look? Be it that you make your own clothes, trawl through op shops. Or maybe you get into goth gear or are mad about tattoos and piercings. We'd like to hear from you also.

You can contact us via email. chiha.antoinette@abc.net.au . Check out our website to find out more about the show www.triplej.net.au/hack/tv. We'll be on air from September 22

hahahaha i was more going for ''a question in an english exam''

how does holden caufield achieve growth in the catcher in the rye - be specific, support your answers

dig?

I'm not sure it was Cannane but I have noticed Hack often has a juvenile approach to interviewing politicians, hectoring them with uni-student arguments and passing it off as brave journalism.

That said, Hack fills a MASSIVE gap in the current affairs market and does an all-around great job of it.

HE PICKS UP A PROSSIE!

POTD.

I liked it better when I was young enough to be in JJJ's target demographic.

I would switch to RRR but I can never remember the frequency. And breakfast radio is nice (shut up I like Robbie / Jay) (I like Marieke too but everybody likes her)

But let's not make this another ''oh JJJ was better back when they played Beethoven'' thread. We've already got some of them I think.

Community radio is great because even though they're volunteers and have zero personality they're still more fun to listen to than Scott Dooley

rigid  said about 3 years ago:

someone please let me know when they have a similar round-up for 774 or radio national. thanks in advance.

Ha. I'd gladly partake in that. I could talk about the difficulty of colour-coordinating my clothes with my Zimmer frame. (Should I own a variety of different coloured walking frames or rather just wear the same outfit all the time?)

what's the go with sharkey's accent?

Angelic  said about 3 years ago:

when I go swanning down swan street today I'll be carefully analysing the responses to my fashion. a glance, a stare, a smile, all will enter my computer bank. I'll post the result later.

lmc  said about 3 years ago:

computer bank. is that like a wank bank?

Angelic  said about 3 years ago:

different part of the brain. but yeah..they inter-relate..
