It'd be tight. Pikelet and Qua are headlining their respective gigs, so you know, tough. I suppose you could call Pony and ask them about set times though. They're likely to start later than the Evelyn.

Ahhh I'll just play it by ear then. Who knows where I'll end up.

i reiterate, this is an incredible ep. the last track 'one second' blows me away

it's more like a mini-album than an EP - and it's stunning. so much melody and crashing noise, kinda like the best bits of everything he's done before compressed into one tiny space. great drums too!

live qua from friday night (song is ritmo giallo). footage is bit shakey (hey i was dancing) but i think the sound came out remarkably well (g'bless the piephone)

Qua and Mountains in the Sky live at OAF last November.

p interesting set doing the whole round robin thing, really enjoyed it. One of the first recordings I did so sound is a bit iffy at times.

cool! is it just james/cornell on stage these days? i still haven't seen him since his laptop gazing days.

Supporting Pivot with was just them two, at the OAF show they had a live drummer with them as well.

Sometimes they have Gray from Flying Scribble for a couple of bits - maybe they also have Lawrence Pike?

has mainly been Cornel and James the last few times I've seen them - would like to see them also with Laurence or Gray though! saw them do a combined Qua vs Super Melody set up in brisbane a few weeks ago which was great - vocals and all! btw Qua are playing next week in Newcastle as part of Sound Summit/This Is Not Art, Friday 2 October at the Cambridge with Ducktails (USA), Pumice (NZ), Aoi, Free Choice Duo and heaps more; and doing a live set/workshop as part of CDR at TINA Festival Club in the arvo of Saturday 3 October.
