Lived there for 6 months in 1993 - i was 17 and was boarding with a really short guy with a really big head who was a mad catholic into Hunters and Collectors and Mike Oldfield. Spent almost every night at the Barwon Club.

I spent three years at ''The Gordon'' from 93-95 and refused to live there. Caught the train each day.

Went on a pub grawl one Friday night and the only place that was ''rocking'' was playing Cotton Eye Joe.

I worked at Deakin Uni for a year in the grunge 90s, lived down the coast though.
