Phew! Please come along, and justify how long it took me to type all that out.
ii's album Landlakes is available online and in stores via Feral Media.
''Stupid formatting.''
frown
I'm going to go to Perth twice!
:( I hate the internet.
the internet loves you. and perth apparently.
Too much love, it's true. Too much love.
Geographically speaking, this isn't really an Australian tour.
You have a really nice .gif
Well, yeah, I guess. Funding programs only fund so much, and ii already went to Tasmania this year.
Count me in for the Melbourne show!
:D
geographically speaking, this seems comprehensive enough to me to justify the ''australian tour'' tag.
also...
YOUR FACE!
anyway, nice drippy monster silhouette thing.
same night as Sigur Ros in Sydney...dammmn.
Are Pivot supporting Sigur Ros?
since i'm not going to sigur ros nor breeders on that night, i reckon i will be there. though it is also on the same night as eddy current, but i will juggle well enough
Pivot are supporting Sigur Ros.
How funny! ii are playing the same night as Pivot's sideshow in Perth as well, though Dave Miller is going to DJ at the following night's show.
Brisbane shows will be fun! It will also be a wacky adventure juggling the Friday night show with Stereo Total down the road.
I will be present for one of the two Perth shows! Awesome, August will be a tops gig month.
You guyz love the TOff on a Wednesday. Y?
this album has grown on me so much the past few months, it perfectly fits my headspace right now
i'm skipping my favourite band in the world to see my fourth favourite band in the world. see you on the 2nd!
with the desks & moonmilk! how great is that?

If anyone's at home in Melbourne tonight, ii will be dropping in to Dappled Beats on PBS (12am-2am) to co-host for a half hour.
and for those that are wondering, yes, we will definitely be playing some twin flame reunion
oh man anok.. this twin flame stuff is BLOWING MY MIND
shoulda been a new thread, anok.
Looking forward to the Brisbane shows!
Amazing night last night at the Judith Wright Centre with Tujiko Noriko. A sold out crowd (? or close to it ?), cushions and blankets on the floor, super hi-fi sound system, the whole room darkened. Noriko was fantastic, too; ii shared an interview on 4ZZZ with her, and have been spinning her new album (with Lawrence English and John Chantler, titled U and released only yesterday at the show).
Tomorrow (Friday) night, still in Brisbane, at Tongue & Groove in West End - ii collaborate with Ross Manning! Then Wednesday at the Toff in Melbourne, alongside Fabulous Diamonds and Beach House.
Should have some professional photos from the Judy Wright show online somewhere soon.
user feralmedia!
Do you have set times at all for tomorrow night by any chance?
I thought the ii set last night was fantastic, the sound was great and the lighting suited. Admittedly I thought Noriko's set was pretty patchy and wasn't overly impressed in parts. I like her stuff, have a few albums but up until the encore it didn't really hit the mark. Probably just jetlag though!
Well, here are the playing times that have been estimated for me. I don't know exactly how spot on they'll be.
Lawrence English/Eugene Carchesio/Leighton Craig - 9:15pm
Yeow Meow - 10ish
Blank Realm - 10:30ish
ii - 11:15ish
But it's possible Blank Realm and ii are playing in the reverse order. Sorry to be so sketchy!
I know what you mean about Noriko. I put it down to the music not being quite loud enough to match her voice, leaving it a little tiring after the whole set, but it was quite good when it got a little louder near the end. I was up the back... people up front said it was better.
also, ii are collaborating with part-man, part-machine ross manning, in case folks forgot.
cool, that works well! stereo total finish early so should be awesomeo.
hold on, change of plans! ii and black realm are gonna swap spots. so ii are on at 10:30 and black realm will close the night from 11:15. hope that gives you enough time to make it, pelt and/or holler, if that is your real name.
woo! all still works.
oops, i said black. i meant blank. derr
You're a blank realm!
While you're there tell Blank Realm to hurry up and come to Sydney
Will do.
They told me they'd already been, and that your beard tickles when you cry upon a shoulder.
yes i know they've already been, but i want them back cause i missed them first time round.
thanks for remembering to ask :)
Good band, too!
