Yeah he's lucky to be alive let alone walking around and playing drums.
Yeah fucken oath. I knew there would be a good reason why his solo was a little ordinary. but all things considered yes it is amazing that he played at all.
NONE OF YOU TRY-HARD FUCKWITS COULD HANDLE CARCASS LIVE
CHARLATANS
Seem em before dipshit. Have you?
That was fucking incredible! Way better than the tour they did in '93.
Great setlist, songs off the first two albums were awesome as well.
Great to see Amott on guitar again. Was sorely missed last time around.
apparently the band have been coming out after the show to have a drink with the fans.
edlrich - go listen to slipknot, dicksnap.
I was spewin that nearly all their merch was sold by the time we got there. Would have loved a Carcass hoodie. I reckon last night was one of the best metal gigs I've been to.
now now, that new slipknot album is 40% awesome.
haha! Yeah...I kinda like it too. I may get to see that show hopefully. I haven't seen Slipknot before. Don't expect it to be as good as Carcass. More like an angry bunch of Wiggles.
Hey there, yep last night was much better than 93! I forgot it wasn't Amott on that tour - and it was freaking awesome getting those handful of early songs - Rotten to the Gore! Steer's tone and playing was great, Amott was class, Walker in fine form and no complaints about that Arch Enemy bloke.
I would have loved Pedigree Butchery though, prob my fave Necroticism track.
Yeah as I would have liked Carneous Cacoffiny. All in all though a great representation of all the albums. Only really one or two songs i didn't know. I never bothered getting ''Swan Song''.
Niether, by that point it was over. Carenous would have been mad! I was really disappointed by 'Heartwork' at the time, but some time last year revisited it and really got in to about 2/3rds of it.
Yeah I thought the ''Heartwork'' stuff worked really well last night. Also hearing the old stuff played and sound good. it's such a shame that the first 2 albums sound like shit. There are some great songs on there.
Totally - LaxCharisma, have you heard the Tools of the Trade EP from the Necroticism period? There's a well re-recorded version of Rotten to the Gore on that i think. It would be awesome if now they re-recorded the entire first 2 albums with good production.
Yeah I got that. I got all my Carcass albums signed in '93 but I refused to let Mike Hickey autograph them. Why should he, he never played on the albums and the guy was a complete cock. I was so glad to see Amott back on guitar.
Hahaha!
Yeah...he wasn't too happy about that. Actually I don't think the band were happy to have him there. I think they were embarrassed by him. I would have been embarrassed of him. He was behaving like he was in fucking Metallica or something. He thought he was a fucking rock star not the ring in guitarist for a then underground death/grind act. I hated him so much. you could tell the other guys would have loved to play the early stuff too but this guy didn't know it. He should of just stepped aside and let em' do it as a 3-piece....anyway to cut a ramble short, they well and trully made up for it last night. I'm still listening to them now.
Also listening now, to Youtube clips! All I remember in 93 is being pissed off at no earlier material, and also Hickey's annoying hot pink guitar, FFS.
Yes!!!! That hot pink guitar....FUCK!!!!! I STILL HATE HIM!
it's 7:20 pm before the melbourne billboards show. my mate missed out on a ticket. please call 0447 045 378 if you have a spare ticket. please!!!
