I'm gonna invent a new genre for Nicola and say she's indie jazz. She's kinda like a french jazz warm singer who writes really cool songs. she won the PBS songwriters award last year. If you're thinking of coming down, do try and get there in time for her cos she's amazing.

ah yes, also pure pop record store birthday celebrations - i'll be playing alongside a bunch o cool people that i can't announce yet as the announcement hasn't been made (yet, haha), but i've been confirmed so... the date is July 19. Dig it.
more stuff: day of sydney show (friday 1st august) i'll also be live on 2SER at 4:30PM. Also, the album is second on the 2SER 'Serving Up' list, which is nice.

Translation: BG will be playing bass for us and sliced bread supporting at The Hoey show.
